Travelodge Manchester Trafford Park

If all Travel Lodges were like this one then I would be able to wholeheartedly recommend Travel Lodge. But sadly, they differ immensely. For example, the one in Southport is dire. But in the Manchester Trafford Park one, almost everything was great. The lady on reception was welcoming and helpful. The room was a good size. The condition of the furnishings (carpets, curtains, bathroom fittings), was very good. The room was also spotlessly clean everywhere. The hot water was hot and plentiful. The bed linens were good. It was quiet. However, we didn't get a good night's sleep because of the condition of the bed and mattress. The bed was very creaky and the mattress sunk badly in the middle. The pillows also seemed to be of poor quality and not comfortable. Changing the bed, the mattress and the pillows would make it (room 201) score 5 out of 5.

Just returned from a long stay at Travelodge Trafford Park. All staff were welcoming, especially Aileen, who always made sure that all our needs were met. Had a lovely night in Wetherspoons across the road, where drinks and food were competitively priced too, and just a short walk from Trafford Centre!

Aileen made the experience incredible after my long journey down nobody has put me at ease so quickly as Aileen after a lovely chat at the front desk my spirits were high it’s an experience I’ll never forget

During a 13 day stay at this hotel I realised my beauty products, toiletries and personal belongings had been tampered with. When I discovered this, I also immediately understood that it would be impossible to prove to the management. I did speak to the manager and sent a detailed report. Of course I was told that it could not be proven. Like wise they cannot back up or guarantee their conclusion when there is only one person working on a shift at a time and no security cameras on the floors. I do not believe that housekeeping were responsible for this action. I have stayed at this hotel 3 other times for 2 week periods each time and it is has always been a pleasant experience. To sum up, it is not only your valuables you need to be cognizant of in any hotel room but your beauty products etc also. A lesson learned!

Lovely stay during a surgery, was served by a lovely staff member called Aileen. 100% would stay again and also recommend to others having surgery in the area of Trafford.
