We loved our stay at this tranquil guest house. It's a beautiful old house, lovely garden and friendly hosts. The location is just a few blocks further than most of the city center action, which makes it convenient, but quiet. Breakfast didn't include anything hot like eggs, but the jam was delicious as was the fresh-squeezed orange juice. The rooms are charming and with new bathrooms, but we were initially staying in a room where the bed shared a wall with the bed of the room next door. The walls are very thin and after a few frustrating nights of bad sleep due to loud babies and loud movies, we paid a small amount more per night for the junior suite which was an excellent call. The new room haf two windows so didn't get as chilly as the first room (we asked for space heaters but there were none) and the bed doesn't share a wall so we slept soundly. The property is the real highlight. We spent relaxing afternoons lounging on the grass in the sun, reading on the patio and enjoying sunsets from the rooftop. Overall it's a beautiful setting, a good price, friendly management, clean & comfortable. We would definitely recommend to friends and would gladly stay again

I was given a huge room during my stay with two queen beds and tons of space to spare. Loved it. This whole place looked like it was converted from a rich man’s mansion from the old days. Chandeliers and frescoes abound, giving it a grand old world atmosphere. Location is prime, just a hop and skip away from many attractions such as liberty house and the main square plaza. Breakfast offered was however quite limited so I supplemented with a saltenas run around town.

I rarely write reviews until I check out from a hostel but our experience so far has been so phenomenal I just have to write about it now. We arrived from Uyuni at 5am, I emailed in advance to say we were arriving early and I’d been really suffering with altitude sickness in Uyuni so wanted to know if we could check in early. As our taxi pulled up outside Cristina was waiting at the door, huge smile on her face and showed us straight to our room. After a few hours rest we met her again to complete check in, chatting in very basic Spanish as we only understand ‘un poco’ but she spoke so slowly and clearly we understood almost every word. We’ve been in Latin-America 2 months and have always been blown away by the people we meet but judging by our experience with Cristina so far we certainly won’t be forgetting her anytime soon. Rooms are clean, outdoor common room is lovely, and the breakfast we saw other guests eating this morning looked fab!

This hotel was an old house well remodel. Like old houses mainly all the rooms are facing the interior what makes them more quiet but we like facing out with more light and view. We reserved initially the suite on the top of the hotel for that reason that was a big and nice room but dark and almost not view for our taste so we had changed for another room much smaller but with 2 windows on the terrace with light and views. Furnitures is really nice. Good customer service and very good breakfast. The only critic I made is the heating. The hotel provides central heat that you cannot control it and we spent 6 days at the hotel because I was sick and we had to request 2 or 3 times a day for the heat to be turn on. Since I was sick the hotel helped me with contacting a good doctor and pharmacy. The hotel is very well located and very easy to walk everywhere. Sucre is a nice town.

Extremely nice, friendly , professional welcome by the Lady owner or manager, she speaks English too. The whole place is sparkling clean, it’s quiet, modern and comfortable. We had a large, bright, apartment for 3 with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a large kitchen and living room. It was very comfortable and functional. Everything works well, good WiFi. The breakfast was excellent, beautiful view from the roof top. Central location near the beautiful San Felipe church and a large supermarket 1 block away. Laundry available in the building, ready the next day. They can help you with taxis, tours etc.. Price is fair, they really treat you well, we had an excellent 3 day stay in Sucre. Thank you!

This is an absolutely beautify hotel. Every corner is perfect for an Instagram picture. No wonder many couples choose this place to take their wedding pictures. The service was excellent. No matter what you need, they will try their best to make it happen. Just ask. The owner was also on the property all the time to make sure the guests receive the best services. Try the restaurant definitely. With the quality of the food and beautiful decor, I was surprised that it was not crowded. The fish fillet was the best I've had in Sucre. I simply love this place!
