DoubleTree by Hilton Summerville Nexton

When we arrived at the Hotel, they did NOT have our room reserved! The hotel was completely booked and the manager had to come in and clean the only room they had left for us! We sat In the Lobby for 4 hours waiting on a room. I will never book through this app again! Osha was Great and Margaret (manager) was very nice and helpful! I will call the hotel directly to reserve our rooms from now on.

Overall great! Pool nice and small/ not as long as online pix. You have to go to desk for extra tissue, towels, face clothes etc. The homemade chocolate chips and walnut cookies are NUTS! Just wow - so tasty. Free but will tun out. Room is only cleaned every 3 days. I would def recommend still!

Staff was at attentive and helpful. Cory at the front desk recommended some nice places to see and eat at. Hotel was very clean. Pool is on the small size but the lounge area is nice and big

The room was clean, the microwave could have been cleaner. There was a mini fridge but you couldn't adjust the coolness so it wasn't very cold. The remote was missing the remote back battery cover. When the AC kicked on we couldn't hear the TV and had to adjust the volume every time up and then back down. Probably the most disappointing part was there was not any coffee two of the mornings of our 3 night stay. This is totally unacceptable. It appeared you had to get up and go to the lobby at 6am to benefit the free coffee. Staff was very nice and the location was great. Rooms were large but the bed was too soft for our comfort. Decent food at the bar in the lobby. All that said, I would stay here again.

Staff was amazing especially Margaret. I left my purse and she kept it safe and shipped it back to me (I provided them a shipping label). I would recommend the hotel to everyone!

Everything was clean and in working order. Shower had plenty of hot water, although the water pressure was a little on the weak side. Other than that, very enjoyable stay.

The only thing I don’t like was that breakfast wasn’t included. I recommend if the stay is more than 3 days or more theee should be a voucher for breakfast

Great location, close to a lot of restaurants and a good value for the money. Accessing the hotel wifi is problematic, had to use my cell phone mobile hot spot this last trip.

Staff was extremely helpful and sweet. Not many people used the pool, so my friend and I had it to ourselves a lot of the time. Safe to walk around outside, lots of coffee shops, outdoor shopping center, apartments, all within walking distance. Perfect 35 minutes outside Charleston, Summerville was a nice place to wind down after a long day. Fireplace didn’t work which was a little bit of a bummer but the gentleman working was kind and candidly explained why; to no fault of the staff. Overall 10/10 would come back here
