David was very friendly and helpful, especially with his English language skills. He was always available by WeChat to answer questions. The yurts are spacious and have necessary amenities including electric blankets and heaters, as well as hot water kettles. They are also clean, most importantly. The shared bathrooms provide shower flip flops and clean towels with lockers and hairdryers. There are sinks outside the yurts and they are also very clean. The restaurant provides a large variety of ingredients to make a delicious hotpot. It was a quiet night when we stayed and we were able to get a great night of sleep. Our stop there was quite short, only 12 hours, but we would’ve liked to have stayed longer.

The hotel is located only 12 kilometers away from the Danxia exit of Lianhuo Expressway. The hotel is located 400 meters outside the west gate of the colorful Danxia scenic spot. You can walk directly to the ticket office and entrance of the west gate of the scenic spot within a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Parking at the hotel is free. There is a small square in front of the hotel, right by the road, and you can take a walk after dinner. The hotel is comfortable, clean and hygienic. The hotel has 3 floors and can provide standard rooms, parent-child rooms, 3-person rooms, and 4-person rooms. The hotel provides dining service, the dishes are ordered by themselves, the owner’s son cooks himself, the Northwestern flavor is very positive, the price is affordable, and the ”Sour and Hot Cabbage” and ”Large Plate Chicken” are especially recommended. The meal cost for 5 people is 100-200! The most touching thing was that I got off from the colorful Danxia scenic area and got off at the wrong car and took the wrong exit. I walked out from the north gate of the scenic area and found that the north gate is 7.1 kilometers away from the west gate. There is no way but to call the hotel owner, who quickly found a car to pick him up in person. Our family, it was already 21:00 in the evening. Also, the owner of the shop has always sent us his own specialty candied dates! Moved, after arriving in Zhangye this time, our family felt that Zhangye was great!
