Good location - 10 minute walk from Main Station and close to shops, restaurant bars. Staff friendly and helpful. Standard Premier Inn rooms - basic but clean and comfortable beds. If you've stayed at any other Premier Inn, you know what to expect. If you haven't it's a reliable basic hotel chain.

So far, so good. Just that the reception service is bad

Bedroom was clean, with Air con working. There were enough towels in our family room for everyone, not just the adults. (Earlier in the year, A different Premier Inn didn't supply enough to start with, so had to ask). No scrambled egg as an option at breakfast, but other than that, a very good breakfast. I've downside is the nearest car park is Very, very small & next door, but not owned by Premier Inn. Expensive at £17 per day, but not a granteed space if you left & than returned. Multi storey a short 5 mins away, had loads of space & very cheap but closed at 11pm & re-opened at 7am.

Went to sunderland for a wedding. During the 3 1/2 hour drive i was taken ill. Upon arrival the lady in recption could see i was unwell. Next thing i know, she had given me a hand written get well note and a lovely bottle of bubble bath. To top it off the hotel was lovely, clean, comfortable and perfectly located. I would 100% recomend the pizza. Would book again

I stayed here for a work night out. Beforehand my stay, I had alsospoken with a member of staff named Karen Stubbs, who was very helpful. What a lovely pleasant and friendly lady she is. Thank you Karen for all your help.

Great night at Sunderland Premier inn, we have been many times before and is ideal for a night out in gods country. It was me and the good lady wife, on arrival hotel was lovely and nice lady welcomed us on reception. The room was same as ever but one thing i would say is they getting in need if a lick of paint and beds getting a bit tired but we only used it after a belly fulk of ale and for a good morning wake up bit of fun. The rooms are very quiet so good nights kip had. We had booked breakfast for £10,99 each and well worth it. We had full english, pancakes toast cereal fruit cappuccinos snd fresh orange juice. There was loads to choose from and tasted very nice. The blonde lady with glasses who welcomed us for breakfadt was very nice as was the dark haired guy clearing the plates a credit to premier inn and is how staff should be well done you too and thank you. So as i said if you stopping in Sunderland this is the place to be.

All online. Lacked personally customer service. Staff were great, once you spoke to them. Parking full had to park at college at a premium rate
