Hotel When we first arrived at the hotel, it was a bit chaotic because some of the kids were still on holiday. If you don't like being surrounded by kids, this hotel will not be for you. It's definitely a family hotel. We don't mind kids, but the hotel was definitely calmer the second week when the kids went back to school compared to the first week. The staff also seemed to be nicer the second week, probably because they were less stressed. The rooms are big and spacious, but they are a bit dated. We found the beds to be uncomfortable, and the pillows were lumpy. The cleaner supplied us with plenty of clean towels, but they were a bit on the small side. Our shower kept leaking and the maintenance guy did put some sealant around the base of the shower but it started to leak again so we just put a towel down to stop the water going all over the floor. The hotel areas and the rooms are maintained well and are kept clean by the staff. The noise from the main pool started at 8 am (6 am uk time) on some mornings. So if you have a room with a main pool view, you will not get a lie in because of the music being played too loud. You can hear the music in the room with the door closed and the air conditioning on full blast. I like music but not this loud in the morning. The noise can also be annoying if you want to sit and chill on the balcony in the afternoon. The rooms with a main pool view also have a horrible view of the derelict building opposite the hotel. You have your normal pool ****** reserving sun loungers early in the morning. They were even reserving sun loungers at the end of our holiday when the hotel was not at full capacity, which I found bizarre? There were some lovely staff at the hotel and a few that were not very pleasant. This is true when dealing with people back home, though. Sam, the Tui rep is a lovely lad. I recommend having a chat with him if you want to find out about things in the area or if you have any issues that need sorting out. There is a quiet pool if you don't like the noise from the main pool, however the sun loungers are not very comfortable. They need some cushions like the loungers in the main pool. The animation team seemed to do a good job, but I didn't have much interaction with them because I preferred being at the quiet pool. They did have entertainment on the night time, we went twice but it wasn't our thing. The entertainment was hilarious one night but for the wrong reasons. I would say the entertainment is more for young families. Food and Drink Food was of a good standard and variety. The salads and cakes were amazing. However, the food was not labelled, so you were not sure what things were. This could be dangerous if you have an allergy. I didn't see any vegan options available, so individuals with these dietary requirements might struggle to find something to eat. The vegetarian options are sometimes with the meat options. It would be better to have one area for the meat dishes and another
