voco Suzhou Guanqian Street

The hotel is new and the service is great! It's right next to Guanqian Street, so it's perfect for a stroll, and the subway access is convenient with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. However, the hotel has only been open for about half a year, and there's still a strong renovation smell in the hallways and rooms. We had to ask for an air purifier, which helped a bit. Also, there's power, but no bidet installed.

This hotel is a hidden gem in Suzhou, totally worthy of its '网红' (internet-famous) status! The lobby beautifully blends traditional ice-crack pattern window grilles with adorable bird mascots. And the flamingo photo wall on the fourth floor is a fantastic spot for pictures. The Birdie Bean coffee bar on the first floor is always a great place to relax, and the ambiance is lovely. Both the front desk and floor staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Flawless overall, it's definitely on my re-visit list for Suzhou! The location is superb, the design has a charming Jiangnan style, the rooms are clean and smart, and the breakfast is rich and varied. The service is attentive, and all the facilities like the gym and laundry are well-equipped. It's perfect for couples, families with kids, or even short business trips. For the same price point, it offers unbeatable value. You really can't go wrong staying here in Suzhou!

The hotel breakfast offers a wide variety of fresh options. The restaurant's ambiance is lovely, and having a leisurely meal there every morning really energized us for a full day of sightseeing. The bedding in the rooms was also quite good and comfortable. My family and I were very satisfied with our stay.

Came to Suzhou for a date with my partner and absolutely fell in love with the hotel's terrace! The flamingo photo wall is incredibly photogenic. The smart room features were very convenient to use, and it's just a short walk to Guanqian Street for the night market. It's also super convenient to all the attractions. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Suzhou!

Our stay with the kids exceeded expectations! The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The themed room with a little tent instantly captivated our child – they didn't want to leave. The bedding was soft and safe, and they even provided kids' toiletries. The hotel's location is perfect for visiting gardens and exploring the old town with children. With its excellent facilities, this is our top choice for a family-friendly stay.

I have to commend the hotel staff! Check-in was super fast, and they were so gentle and patient. They even proactively offered noise-canceling earplugs when they knew we were sensitive to noise. Any requests were handled incredibly promptly. The whole experience felt so warm and personal, not like a cold, process-driven stay. It was as comfortable as staying at a friend's house.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Pingjiang Road and the subway station. The front desk service was warm and attentive, and they even gave us a small gift when we checked out. Next time I come to Suzhou, VOCO will still be my top choice.

The service was excellent. A male staff member with glasses at the front desk saw I had two children and upgraded our room, which was very spacious. The service was as thoughtful as ever. I originally planned to extend my stay, but due to an unexpected change in plans, they were very helpful and kindly canceled the extension for me. I'm so glad I chose voco hotel this time, and I'll definitely choose IHG brands again in the future; their quality is truly reliable.
