Qichi Yicheng Hotel (Suzhou Humble Administrator's Garden)

The hotel was at a great location. The street across the hotel had a lot of restaurants and was just a few hundred meters distance from the famous humble administrators garden. The ambiance and the style of the hotel were very traditional and clean. They also had a beautiful garden inside the hotel with a small fountain. The facilities were top-notch. The staff was very friendly and also helped us store luggage for free after check out. Summary:clean,beautiful, not expensive, great location, lot of nearby attractions and restaurants. Best stay in suzhou.

I simply love this little quaint but classy hotel with the dated look of some dynasty with a courtyard and beautiful koi pond and lots of roses! It's just a few minutes walk from the metro station. Literally a short stroll to the Humble Administrator Garden and Suzhou museum and the canals. The front desk guy even helped me book a spot to visit the museum! Best of all you get to try on complimentary Hanfu and Qibao and take photos. Love to stay here again! 💕

The hotel has a good location, just a 300-meter walk from the metro station. There are many food courts in front of the hotel, so it's easy to find different types of breakfast in the morning

Very cute hotel in a good location. Close to a couple of subway lines. Easy to walk to several popular spots. Helpful staff. Comfortable but basic room. Comfy bed. Kettle and TV in room.

I really enjoyed my stay here! If you're interested in sight seeing in Suzhou, you can't beat the location. It's in a very beautiful area, right in the Gusu district. I think it's very conveniently located if you're interested in seeing a lot of the historical parts of Suzhou. It's within walking distance to Humble Administrator's garden, Beisita temple, and Suzhou museum (protip: tickets to Suzhou museum are free, but you need to book at least a few weeks in advance). Also within walking distance to the Beisita railway station if you want to go to other places in Suzhou. Also right across the street is an excellent noodle restaurant! Hotel was clean, rooms were pretty comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. There were even some items I forgot to bring from home that the front desk helped me find. Though, I would recommend learning some basic Chinese phrases, or maybe using a translator app if you don't know how to speak Chinese.

Excellent location, about 20min walk to Pingjiang Street and Humble Administrator's Garden, perfect for attending the night tour at the garden (6pm onwards, approx an hour). Also directly opposite a street full of eateries. Front desk were helpful and friendly, and able to help with booking of day tours for solo travellers. Also patiently answered all my questions about the wheres and whats during my arrival, making my trip in Suzhou so much better. Room was comfortable and clean with ample hot water for showering. Spacious for one, but might be a little cramped for two.
