Suzhou Yangcheng Lake Lanting Hotel

I chose this hotel because I saw a live stream on Trip.com offering good deals on 5-star hotels. I really liked the Southeast Asian-inspired feel of the hotel. The front desk service was excellent; they even upgraded our room so we had a great view of Yangcheng Lake from the balcony. They also gave us a small gift. The hotel lobby is very grand, and the room was spacious and clean, though the furniture was a bit dated. There's a direct path from the hotel's side entrance to the lakeside trail, perfect for cycling. Breakfast was just okay. The hotel is conveniently located right next to a bus stop that takes you directly to Metro Line 11. I'll definitely visit again.

Check-in and check-out were quick, and the front desk staff were very enthusiastic, even upgrading my room. The hotel environment is excellent, with fresh air, making it perfect for a vacation. While the breakfast selection isn't huge, it's sufficient. Parking is convenient with both above-ground and underground options.

The hotel's location offers great views, and the room itself was decent. There was a slight odor in the bathroom, but overall it was quite clean, and the bedding was good. However, the breakfast was a nightmare. You had to fight for a table, and the staff at the entrance were just chatting among themselves. We walked around several times with our baby trying to find a seat and when we asked if we really had to scramble for a spot, they confirmed it. Absolutely speechless.

The room is spacious and the balcony faces Yangcheng Lake. It is so pleasant to walk around Yangcheng Lake and enjoy the breeze after leaving the hotel. Xiao Zhang at the front desk provided good service and gave me a paper fan as a souvenir when I left. It was very thoughtful.

I came here for vacation with my friends. We booked separate rooms. Xiao Zhang at the front desk was very considerate and arranged adjacent rooms for us. There were also small gifts when we checked out the next day. It felt very friendly. The hotel is right by the Yangcheng Lake. It has a Southeast Asian style. It is very comfortable to walk or ride by the lake after breakfast. There is also a parent-child park. You may consider traveling with your family next time.
