The check-in process is smooth and the owner is very helpful. Very clean room and quiet surroundings. There is a bit of walking distance between the subway station, but very close to PingJiang Road (＜ 5 minutes).

I recently stayed at this hostel and was pleasantly surprised. Its central location and budget-friendly rates were definite highlights. The beds were also really comfy. If you're looking for a straightforward and comfortable place to stay without any unnecessary frills, I highly recommend this spot.

It is all Great, that is why it is suggested by Trip.com I must say. The owner is so nice and helpful, we arrived so early but he let us in without any extra charge. I had a wonderful time there and drink coffee with the owner and his neighbour. Really feel like living in the real life of China. Thanks a lot.

Excellent location and superb host. Room is classic and big.

We ended up giving our host the name 'Fred'... because he is truly a big friendly guy. The place might be a little rustic, but that was a big draw for us. What it lacks in facilities (not that we needed any of them), compared to a bigger hotel it more than makes up for in its intimacy and warmth of service. There is also a small tea/coffee room with the window facing the waterway - nothing fancy, but I happily spent almost an hour in there planning my day, while watching locals and the resident duck go about their day. When it came to advice, Fred was detailed, to the point of recommending us the best places to eat along the way to our destinations, what is there in the area. The room is generally clean, and so is the bed. The bathroom does have a few occasional bugs, but that is simply due to the area you're in. The tv has a good variety of movies, though everything is in Chinese (but they do have old HK comedies...a favourite of mine). The walls may be made of concrete, but noise somehow passes through, and we can hear the occupants next door in lively conversation. But other than that, I had a good night's sleep. You are literally just a few tens of meters from Pingjiang road, but far enough not to get disturbed by the nightly hustle and bustle. It is also walking distance to the Humble Administrators Garden and IM Pei's cool white building of historical Chinese things.

It's in a small alley next to Pingjiang Road Pedestrian Street, quiet in a busy city, the location is good, and the overall sanitary facilities meet my expectations for a homestay. The room is quite large, but the lighting is insufficient and it's very dark. Also, when it's cold, the wall-mounted air conditioner is not powerful enough, so it's very cold when you sleep at night!

It is a quiet inn located in one of the alleys that converge on Pingjiang Road. While planning a short trip to Suzhou with my parents, I chose this place because I thought it would be nice to experience a traditional Suzhou house. The surprisingly clean condition of the guest room and the meticulously arranged decorations showed a sense of style. I came back after spending a long time admiring the calm river and the roofs of the neighboring houses from the window table. Thank you to the kind owner. I want to come again😀

I chose this hotel, probably, first of all, because of the surroundings - a very authentic room with beautiful furniture in Chinese style. The location is also in a very cozy street - a branch of the tourist historical street Pingjianglu (平江路). It's a 15-minute walk from the metro, many attractions are nearby, within walking distance. The staff is very friendly, understanding and always ready to help. Since they do not include breakfast, they told us where we can go to eat. They offered us coffee. The room was cleaned. Unfortunately, there is no washing machine and iron, but it's not scary. The room also felt damp, but this is already the specifics of the climate, weather and old stock. It did not bother us. They also allowed us to leave our luggage in the room until yesterday on the day of departure. Thanks to the owners for their help and your hotel! I recommend it.

Location: The B&B is right next to Pingjiang Road, and there are Humble Administrator's Garden and Suzhou Museum nearby, so it's very convenient to go out for a walk. Facilities: The B&B is decorated very tastefully, antique, and the disposable products are well equipped and of good quality. Service: We were given a fruit plate, and the fruits were all fresh and delicious😋! The lady boss is super gentle and cute! She sent us out even though it was raining and we didn't bring an umbrella!
