Convenient location. Friendly staff. Rooms are spacious and clean and have everything you need. The decoration could be a little more cozy/warm to give the guesthouse more “soul”. Convenient closed carpark.

This is a lovely spot to base yourself in Swakopmund. We were there for 2 nights, coinciding with a significant birthday for my mother. The manager was lovely, at very short notice decorating the breakfast table for my mum on her birthday and giving her a gorgeous cake and gift. The cook - who has a superb voice - also sang happy birthday. Their kindness really helped to make the day special for Mum. The rooms are spacious, breakfast is lovely and there are some sunny courtyards to relax in as well as a guest lounge.

Well located, quiet area with well appointed rooms. The bonus is a Jura coffee machine in the guest lounge, as life is too short for bad coffee.

Have stayed here a few times now. Great location. For exploring the area and town. Very welcoming staff, lovely rooms with some really nice touches. Great breakfasts , courtesy bar and easy parking . Cannot fault it. Nice and quiet at night too.

You can't go wrong with the Namib Guesthouse. The staff is friendly, the rooms are comfortable and there is a lovely little courtyard in the midst of it all where you can enjoy some sunshine. Breakfast was delicious. It's a 10-15 minute walk to the main part of downtown, but the weather is beautiful so we didn't mind that at all.

This was our second time at the namib guesthouse as we had a wounderful experience the last time. The Namib Guesthouse is centrally located and within walking distance of Swakopmund city center. The hostesses are extremely warm and very helpful in all matters. Among other things, when you check in you will receive a city map and all the sights and ways to get there will be explained. They are also very helpful with reserving a table for dinner in one of the numerous restaurants in the city. The rooms are spacious, quiet and modern furnished. Breakfast leaves nothing to be desired You can park your vehicle in a guarded parking lot directly in front of the accommodation. For us, the Namib Guesthouse is the ideal place for a few beautiful days on the coast and the perfect starting point for all kinds of activities around Swakopmund and Walvisbay
