WwolfbabyoneThe room was spacious, perfect for our family with kids. It was cleaned meticulously every day, always spotless. The room also came with a full set of kitchenware, an induction cooker, and a microwave, which was great for a 'home away from home' feel, allowing us to cook our own meals. The hotel's overall atmosphere is very relaxing. It shares a garden with Marriott and Sheraton, and the decor and garden setting are really pleasant and comforting.
Transportation: Right next to the Marriott entrance is a Line 2 subway station, making getting around super convenient.
Original Taste Coffee (Free Flow): Downstairs, there's a free-flow coffee machine, and the coffee quality is excellent. A must-try for coffee lovers!
Facilities: A public laundry room is available. It can get busy, so you might have to wait, but overall it's quite good. We usually managed to use it during off-peak times.
Overall, a great experience. I'd definitely stay here again.

JjerryleezyThis is my second stay at Rosewood this year, and I've noticed a significant improvement in service both times. It feels like Rosewood has invested a lot in staff training. Service used to be a weak point, but now it's really stepped up. From the moment the car pulled up and they helped with luggage, to the detailed communication during check-in, the executive lounge dinner, and the breakfast service and food quality, plus the cheerful pool staff – it truly feels like Rosewood's service has gotten much better. This time, I particularly want to commend the excellent room cleanliness. My child wore non-slip socks in the room for three days without changing them because it was so clean, which made us feel much more at ease... though the tea bags in the room were a bit disappointing!

IiamJayWe would like to commend Kristen Wu for her excellent service recovery and professionalism during our stay.
Initially, we reported to Guest Services that our room felt unusually warm. A housekeeper came to check while delivering some amenities we had requested, but she was unable to resolve the issue and escalated it, informing us that the engineering team would inspect the room. After waiting about half an hour with no one arriving, we went down for breakfast instead.
After breakfast, we approached the front desk again and explained the situation. Kristen Wu attended to us and immediately took ownership of the issue, assuring us she would rush the engineering team to check on it.
Shortly after we returned to the room, an engineering representative arrived. He explained that the room tends to be warmer because it faces the Baiyun High-Speed Rail Station and receives strong sunlight in the morning and afternoon. He tried opening the window, but it did not help much. We then asked about the air-conditioning system, as it was winter in Guangzhou. He explained that the system can only operate either in heating or cooling mode at one time, and at that period the hotel had switched on heating due to other guests complaining about cold rooms on the construction-facing side.
We requested for a room change due to the heat, and he escalated this to Guest Services.
Kristen personally came up to our room to assist. She took the time to experience the room temperature herself and agreed that it was indeed warm because of the strong sunlight exposure. She then showed us another room of the same category on the opposite side of the hotel, which was noticeably cooler but faced the construction site.
We also shared another concern — at night, the bathroom lights were too glaring because the wall separating the bathroom and sleeping area was translucent, allowing the cove lighting to disturb our sleep. We asked if there were rooms with a more opaque partition.
Kristen then brought us to a Deluxe Room that was larger, cooler, and had a partially opaque separation wall, which suited our needs much better. We asked if we would need to top up for the upgrade, and whether a complimentary upgrade was possible. To our pleasant surprise, she kindly arranged a free upgrade for us.
Throughout the entire process, Kristen remained polite, patient, and genuinely accommodating. Her handling of the situation turned what could have been a very frustrating experience into a positive one. I even had the thought of cancelling our stay and changing hotels earlier, but her service recovery truly made the difference.
Thank you, Kristen Wu, for your outstanding service. It is staff like you who leave a lasting impression on guests.

SSuosuolanqiesuiyiFacilities: What attracted me to this hotel was its pet-friendly nature, and it certainly lived up to our expectations. Upon check-in, a pet-friendly gift bag contained some useful items, and the cleaning staff were incredibly attentive and helpful in cleaning up any messes our dog made.
Service: When we first placed the order, we discovered that our room type didn't have a TV. Later, when the butler confirmed the booking, I mentioned that we were traveling with children and that the kids would enjoy watching movies in the evenings. The butler assured us they would do their best to arrange a TV, and they did indeed arrange it for us upon check-in – a pleasant surprise! Also, when we checked out, we forgot some items, and the butler collected everything and contacted us via WeChat to confirm if we needed them mailed back. It was truly a thoughtful, attentive, and warm service experience. Highly recommended! 👍
Cleanliness: The room was clean, and the air purifier prevented any unpleasant odors. One area for improvement was the shower water pressure, which was a bit too gentle. A stronger water pressure would have made the showering experience much better. 😄
As a family of five with furry friends, we would definitely come back for a second visit. The Ayana community is indeed a great place to relax and unwind.

GGuest UserThis has to be the best value-for-money five-star hotel in Guangzhou, it's absolutely fantastic! It's incredible that I could stay at an InterContinental property in a first-tier city for just a few hundred yuan during New Year's Day.
Many of the negative reviews online are probably from people with overly high expectations. And for out-of-town visitors, it is indeed a bit out of the way; aside from the hotel, there isn't a single other dining option on the island, and even a convenience store requires a 1km walk. However, for a pure relaxation getaway, this place is truly amazing! 👍 The front desk even upgraded me to a suite, which was a fantastic perk! 👍
The breakfast offers a wide variety, and it was a pleasant surprise to see them offering pig trotters in ginger and vinegar for the first time, haha.
The lobby is huge, but it's a bit funny that there isn't even a single sofa.
The room's hardware is excellent. At night, you have a direct view of Zhujiang New Town, with the Canton Tower practically within reach, just across the river. The vibrancy and tranquility coexist without disturbing each other; I truly enjoyed this peaceful oasis in the midst of the bustling city.
The toilet is smart but doesn't have a heating function, which I found a bit puzzling 🥲.
The room is very spacious, but some corners show significant wear and tear, perhaps indicating it's a bit older?
Overall, this was an incredibly good value experience, highly recommended!

**Service:** Communication before check-in was inefficient. During my stay, the staff were outwardly enthusiastic, but response times were a bit slow, emotional intelligence seemed low, and comprehension was lacking. I booked a suite but didn't receive dedicated butler service, which was disappointing. Some issues required repeated explanation to be understood. The hotel could improve its execution of guest requests; the turndown service, for a luxury hotel, was perfunctory. The lounge service, however, was excellent. When I asked the doorman for an umbrella, I was told to go to the front desk myself. The concierge would open the car door but didn't proactively help with luggage, which felt robotic. This kind of experience is very poor for a luxury hotel.
**Facilities:** For a hotel over ten years old, the maintenance is overall very good.
**Hygiene:** Excellent, no complaints whatsoever.
**Dining:** The fruit selection throughout the hotel was very poor. The overall dining experience has declined. Service at the 4th-floor restaurant was a bit subpar, with the reception staff appearing paranoid. Overall, the dining was average, and the number of staff in the entire restaurant seemed insufficient.

GGuest UserThe room was great, and there were many services available. The breakfast was plentiful. The facilities were complete, and the hygiene was good. The environment was beautiful, and the service staff were friendly. The shuttle service to Shiqi Nan subway station and Guangzhou South Railway Station was very convenient. It's definitely worth a visit, and they even have afternoon tea, which the kids loved. It was excellent!

AAnonymous UserI was extremely satisfied with my stay! The hotel is right by Keyun Road, and getting to Pazhou is just a bridge away. There's plenty of parking, which is super convenient, and it's free for guests. From the moment I walked in, I felt a warm, 'welcome home' feeling. The lobby has a great design, and the fragrance is delightful. Check-in at the front desk was quick, and since it was Valentine's Day, they even gave us a small gift. The room view was excellent, the bedding soft and comfortable, and the cleanliness details were impeccable. Breakfast offered a rich variety of fresh ingredients, and the freshly cooked noodles were delicious. I especially want to praise the service; every staff member smiled, greeted guests proactively, and responded to requests incredibly fast. This is definitely a five-star hotel. Whether for a business trip or a leisure vacation, this is my top choice. I will definitely stay here again!

MMofahezi-lvyouThe hotel environment is like a tropical rainforest, with lush greenery surrounding the corridors, allowing for pleasant strolls even on rainy days. The dining experience was perfect; at the White Tiger Buffet Restaurant, you can dine while watching white tigers, and the food was abundant and fresh. There were also cute cartoon mascots interacting with guests, which made the kids incredibly happy. The staff were enthusiastic and attentive, and the rooms were clean, tidy, and well-equipped. From entering the park to checking in, everything was thoughtfully arranged.
Getting around was very convenient, whether going to the Safari Park, Amusement Park, or seeing the Grand Circus.
The package I purchased included unlimited access to three parks and the Grand Circus, offering excellent value for money. My child interacted with capybaras, rode the cable car to see giraffes, and enjoyed roller coasters at the Amusement Park – it was a blast the whole way through. This family trip was hassle-free and unforgettable, highly recommended!

There are plenty of affordable dining options nearby, offering great value for money. Although the facilities are a bit older, they have a distinctive Guangdong charm. The bed and sofa are very comfortable, and the view from the window is absolutely stunning, with Canton Tower right across. The scenery is fantastic, both day and night! There was even a lawn wedding happening downstairs, creating a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended! 👍
