Great pub and hotel with easy parking. We went there for a meal and overnight stay and were made to feel welcome straight away by the lovely staff. The food was delicious. The hotel room was very nice, clean, roomy and quiet and made a change from the usual places. Breakfast was included and was top quality. Highly recommended all round.

6 of us came for a Mother’s Day lunch and had a wonderful time. We all agreed the roast was the best we had eaten out and we are all quite fussy about our roasts! The pork belly and crackling was cooked to perfection, as was the roast beef. We always gauge a good roast on the meat, roasties and gravy and all were perfect and beyond what we expected. Cauliflower cheese, savoy cabbage and roast carrots were all cooked beautifully and the Yorkshire was huge and crispy. We had more gravy to the table as we tend to go through a lot, which was no problem. The staff were attentive and the service was efficient, friendly and the girls on the floor worked hard to keep everyone happy and they did. Big thumbs up to Kyla, Ruby, Bo, Sylvia, Jazz and Scarlett…they ran the day like clockwork, which was very busy and are an absolute credit to the White Hart. Obviously it’s a team effort, so behind the scenes, high applause to the chefs, kitchen staff and management for creating a desirable and friendly place to eat and drink in this great village….teamwork makes the dream work! 👌🙌

The stay was just what we wanted with a warm welcome on booking in then to the large clean and quite room away from the main public house but easy access to return for food, this pub has a lovely menu which was enhanced by table service. After a good nights sleep we sampled a great breakfast served hot and freshly cooked again with table service. It will be our go to location in the area. We must add that the pub had a good feel inside with a log fire with a warm and welcoming vibe. They have a large car park which is near to the rooms, we noticed there was a garden but it was a bit cold to use but it looked well maintained. In all a good stay.

We went there for a meal. Our previous visits had been okay, but this times the menu had changed. Poor choice of food, so we ordered the beefburger. This consisted of two halves of a burnt roll, which held a burger, a piece of lettuce and a thin swipe of onion jam, held together with a plastic skewer, served on a block of wood. With some chips in a small bowI. I had to ask for a proper plate as it was impossible to deal with this food on a block of wood. ( A great item for billions of bacteria to multiply unless scrubbed clean after every use ) ! Very poor choice of food on the menu, certainly disappointing since we dined there last time. At least the stupid car registration has stopped. We had a difficult job cancelling the fine we were sent after a previous visit. I would add that the service was acceptable and friendly. But wouldn't eat there again unless some proper meals were on offer.

We hadn't been since the place had changed hands, the Roast dinners were previously superb! Currently they sell two choices for a Sunday dinner, small and large. We had a variety of different options across the table. I ordered a small beef, my partner ordered a large. The plates were the same size once they arrived, as well as the amount of items on the plate. I questioned what the difference was between the two, being told the large has extra meat, two extra slices to be exact ( £8 for two slices of beef) Because my partner clearly got a small one, the waitress returned with two slices of beef..... plate was already empty, took about five bites.
