Meriton Suites Kent Street

We stayed at Meriton Suites Kent Street and really enjoyed the location and apartment-style setup. We chose it mainly because it included a kitchenette, washing machine, and more of a home-style layout rather than just a standard hotel room, which made our three-night stay much more comfortable. The location was excellent, close to Chinatown, making it easy to explore local restaurants, markets, and the seafood market, while still being within walking distance of Sydney’s main attractions and landmarks. The hotel itself was functional and suited us well. We actually liked not having daily cleaning service, as it gave us more privacy and made the stay feel more relaxed and independent. Overall, it was a comfortable and convenient place to stay, and we would definitely stay there again.

Very spacious and location is convenient

The cutleries were never washed during cleaning day. The lift is slow. It can't check in early.

Location was amazing, very close to Darling Harbour. Restaurants are accessible. Customer service is prompt. Only thing there is no toilets for guests at the lobby.

Huge room with kitchen and washing machine. Great views. Had issues with safe and tv but they were quickly resolved by staff visiting the room. Recrption staff friendly. Our 2nd stay this year. Will return.

Check-in is awful. Slow, outdated process where they ask you to fill out a paper form with your address, phone number, etc etc. Not a good start to the trip. Room was great - big, lots of light, in-unit sink and washing machine. Good for longer stay. Common areas + facilities were meh - gym sparse and has a bit of a hospital feel.
