Hotels near New South Wales Hall of Champions in Sydney

If you want a room small enough to swing a cat, this is the hotel for you. If you want a hotel where you just need a bed because you are seeing live sport or concerts, this hotel is also for you! More basic than basic but the bed is soft and the shower hot. What more do you need? The curtain to separate the bedroom from the ‘bathroom’ is an interesting touch. Additional pillow and towels wouldn’t go astray.

We were in Sydney on business and stayed one night at the Ibis. Despite being Accor Hotel Members we were given the most basic of rooms. Generally the rooms are very dated in need of complete renovation. The floor of the room was uneven with a huge concrete bump under the carpet at the doorway of the bathroom! It is a trip hazard and very unsightly. The room was clean and so was the bathroom. The room was very small though and we would have appreciated a bit more room. The windows opened which was great for fresh air was but hoons doing burnouts on the road below during the night forced us to keep them closed unfortunately. The bed was super comfy. The Brasserie was nice with a limited menu but the waiter forgot to give us a side dish for our main meal. Breakfast was fairly expensive for plain continental (no hot food) breakfast. The waitstaff were friendly. The lady who checked us out was very friendly and happy to have a chat.

Located in the heart of the Olympic Park, the hotel is 50 meters from the T7 rail line station and is very convenient for travel. Hotel facilities are relatively complete, the overall service is higher. The parking lot costs $40 per day for capping, not very cheap. There are more fast food and restaurants downstairs, and eating is still very convenient. There is a large drug store near the T7 station, and there are many things.

Firstly, this hotel is perfectly located for business travellers to Macquarie Park Business Centres. The hotel is 5 minutes away from offices, Macquarie Centre and train stations. Absolutely perfect for my work trip. There were some positives. Rooms are fine, completely what you would expect from a business hotel. Bed was comfortable, there was a TV that I never used, space to put luggage and hang up your clothes, a table and a chair etc. However, it goes down hill from there. I'll list the negatives 1 by 1: 1. One pillow had a very strong odour coming from it. Smelled like bad musty BO. I literally had to move the pillow into the cupboard as I couldn't stand the smell. However, this meant that I could smell this musty smell every time I came in and out of the room. 2. 1 of the provide bath towels had a big hole/tear in it. 3. Housekeeping made an error and did not provide shampoo but instead 2 conditioners. Easy enough, I called up reception and they said I have to come down to the reception to get it myself. Fine, went down and was given 1 bottle of shampoo. I went back upstairs to shower only to find that the shampoo given was pre-opened/pre-used. Terrible. After my shower, I went back down to speak to another receptionist who was apologetic and gave me 2 bottles of shampoo. 4. On my second day, I realised housekeeping had not come in, so I went down to speak to the reception again and was told that because of COVID, they only do housekeeping on after the 3rd day of your stay which made it null and void for me. 5. Fitness centre was adequate but they did not replenish the towels and did not clear used towels regularly. On my second day, I had left a used towel on the side as the bin was full. On my third day, the bin was still full and my previous towel still sitting there in the same position I had left it in. Forth day, no more clean towels. 6. If they were so concerned about COVID, they would have more regular cleaning of public areas like the gym and in the hall way where an empty glass and cup set for 3 whole days. The lack of cleaning in public areas to me is unacceptable in the hospitality industry now. All in all, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone given my concerns above, especially the lack of cleanliness while we are dealing with an epidemic.

Very close to Mascot Station which is only two stations away from the Central Station. There are local provision stores and reasturants nearby and a quiet community.

We love the cockatoo Island camping experience ! the island has a stunning location in the middle of the Sydney harbour surrounded by blue waters the island has a great 200 years old history where it was a former of convict colony, as well as a ship building yard, a power station and now thankfully it’s been preserved very well with sustainable tourism of tents, studios and villas.

If you stay for 3 days or more, you must choose an apartment, which is more cost-effective than a king-bed room. The apartment has a large area, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and the kitchen is very complete. If you need to buy your own spices for cooking, there is an Asian supermarket a few hundred meters away, which is very convenient for purchasing. There is a balcony where you can see the beautiful night view is great for people who travel for work to have a washer dryer

very good room arrangements - definiely will use the property on our next visit to Sydney. the fact that there were two bathrooms fpor two bedrooms was excellent. the set up of all rooms was good quality - the appliances were good quality and easy to use.

Three of my business associates from Singapore and myself stayed a week at Rydges Parramatta. The staff facilitated early check in for my business associates who arrived early. The rooms are comfortable and offer wifi and a desk for work. The breakfast is value for money. The restaurant and bar have a limited, but very good menu. The car park has plenty of spaces. I left behind my PC charger, what the staff posted to me. The only issue was that the air conditioner took time to adjust the temperature. Will I stay there again? Yes!

Just finished the check-in, breakfast should be at your own expense, so look at how you eat yourself! My room bed is bigger, I think the children can live together, the room is not very big, so there is no way to extra bed! It is very convenient to take the subway. It is a distance from the subway station. A straight street goes down and turns across the road, so you should be mentally prepared for the big bag!
