Radisson Blu Hotel, Szczecin

I'm a frequent guest in Radisson in Stettin. The staff is extremely nice and helpful, the rooms nice. I've tried them all - standard room is quite ok, recently we had a superior room - it was very frugal, but functional, but bed quality was truly excellent (and I'm a picky traveller!). A suite recently was lovely. All rooms are very quiet, good windows contribute to this quality. A bigger problem is the breakfast ambiente which is hectic and extremely loud. The breakfast room (and Europa restaurant in the evening) is simply too echoing - because of the floor and the ceiling, the noises are amplified which is a great nuisance. Thus, we sticked to the breakfast in the room which was great. Europa restaurant: everybody is very nice, the food even not bad, but it is a horrible place to have a dinner at. Breakfast noise problem is stil a problem, the room looks horrible and there's not even a try to change the light and make it somehow more cosy (and for God's sake, please change the breakfast tape with Simply Red & CO, we're not deaf!). The food is average but ok, but there's no reason to eat there at all - this should and could be changed... Speaking of which: the disappearance of the Renaissance restaurant which was an absolute gem on the Stettin's miserable culinary map is unforgivable - this chef (as I've heard he landed in Dana which is a horrible hotel but now they have a wonderful chef) and this service were one of a kind. In our opinion, the hotel lost its most noble asset the moment they closed it (as it seems, forever)... RIP, Renaissance.. These are our mixed feelings and yet we're thankful that the Radisson is there since it seems to be the only hotel where you can sense the level of hospitality that Radisson trade promises. Thank you!

Cleaning staff stole a pair of shoes from our room! This is something that sounds incredible, but it really happened. As soon as we realized the missing pair of shoes, we called the reception to ask them about it. They replied: oh yes ”this is normal, the cleaning lady must have taken it your shoes, we waited for the staff to get some answer instead they were laughing at us, totally unhelpful and disrespectful. After waiting with not answers we left the hotel, they stole a pair of shoes! Be aware of this situation, if they steal shoes be sure they can take other valuables things from your room, Dangerous place to stay. Beside been robed, this is my opinion of this hotel: - Uneducated, arrogant, sadistic staff at the reception, they are unhelpful, lazy, slow. They will let you wait for minutes, avoiding eye contact. Once you managed to get their attention, they will treat you like a subhuman, they clearly enjoy to make people wait. You can see in their faces when they smirk while the guess is having a bad time. Also, be careful with your bill, the girl called: Olivia tried to charge us more, pretending that she did not know how to count. Scary staff, like from Figueroa Street in Los Angeles (google it), the girls look like cheap S-T-R-I-P-E-RS and the boys like P-I-M-P-S. Olivia and Kate should never ever work in hospitality. They are rude, unhelpful, arrogant, they make you have a very bad impression of Polish people. The hotel is located in a street full of sketchy people, drunkards, etc. Small room, no fridge, no tea/coffee. As a Marriott Bonvoy member and a long time traveler, I can say this was the worst hotel experience ever. A total shame for this brand. Management team are clearly unprofessional. Avoid at all cost, you might end getting stolen by staff.

We arrived five minutes early 11:55 from Copenhagen at SZZ (Goleniów Lotnisko), which was fine as the transfer we booked would leave 12:20. It had seemed very short connection time when I booked and paid our seats with Follow Me - Interglobus. I shouldn’t have worried because we brought only hand luggage and the plane parked close up to a small airport building. We just walked into the building and in the end we found the waiting taxi bus 12:10. The transfer took us to Szczecin Central train station and the bus stop for Follow Me and Flixbus along the street ul. Kolumna. We just had to back track 300m to find the main entrance to the train station and the stops for both trams and local buses. I cannot tell you how to get tickets to trams and local buses as we could travel for free with our ID as both of us were over 70 years of age. We took tram 3 but realised later that we would have come closer to the hotel by taking three stops in bus 75 to Plac Zwyciestwa. (There is a church across the street where you get off and the bus stop for the return journey with bus 75 to the central station is on the other side of the church by the petrol station. The last stop is by the central station entrance but get out straight away before the bus starts picking up passengers for the journey back. ) Walk in the direction of the disappearing bus, pass two side streets and walk slightly right into the third street aleja Wojska Polskiego. Look for the triangular planting separating the different directions of the street. Walk up to the pedestrian crossing, and cross over and turn right and you should by Café Koch, walk on and turn left into a short alley and City Aparthotel reception is right in front of you. (Beware the little alley won’t appear on most smart phones as it isn’t a proper street and the phone might take you a round about way to the hotel.) City Aparthotel asks for a deposit of 30% when you make the booking. When arriving we paid the rest and added breakfast to the sum. The reception is open 8:00 – 20:00 hours. The hotel does not have its own breakfast room so breakfast is served 7:30-11:00 in Café Koch a hundred meters away. Breakfast is quite substancial with coffe, tea, juice, milk, cornflakes, fresh fruit, fruit shots, cucumber, tomatoes, peppers, ham, chorizo, sliced bread, breakfast buns, cheese, cottage cheese, egg halves and more. The hot stuff is scrambled eggs and sausages. My sister and I had booked an apartment with two bedrooms and a living room. We were really pleased when we entered the combined hallway and kitchenette. It was very well kept, looked new and the location kept traffic noice away. The bathroom with shower was of a good size. The provided fan was in good use during the hot days when we stayed there. The free Wi-Fi with a proper password and not open to the neighbourhood worked wonders. The entrance to the building has no steps and there is a lift serving all floors. I ckecked in our

Focus Hotel Szczecin

The hotel is located near the attractions of Szczecin, so you can reach everything very well walking. The car can be placed on a guarded parking place, which is a few meters away from the hotel, but is well reached. The rooms have European standard and are relatively quiet, although main roads are near. Breakfast is good and varied. The hotel's own restaurant does not have an ury atmosphere, but also offers some at night.

One of the best hotels we were in. Rooms very clean, food is incredibly delicious. Very cozy interior. As for a three-star hotel, super surprise. We were there for training, so the hotel has spacious conference rooms.

The hotel is located in an old building, recently renovated, but not extremely well highlighted by the other surrounding buildings. The room is spacious, comfortable, with an extremely interesting lighting system. As in other hotels, I did not understand the eco concept of changing towels: although they are not placed on the floor, as recommended, they are still changed regardless of their location.Micul dejun este generos si extrem de variat, chiar daca a fost acelasi in fiecare zi.

We just needed a suitable place close to all the unique places in Szczecin, with a good bathroom, comfortable room and of course wifi, and we got exactly what we wanted, the staff was always very friendly, we could communicate in English and German. They provided an excellent stay for us. The location is prime, less than 3 minutes walk to the old town, very close to the train station (that we used), and not far at all to the Oder River, right at the point where many actions take place. We loved our stay and we strongly recommend this hotel to those who are looking for a good price (same as a hostel price). My only suggestions are, all summers in Europe are getting hotter and hotter, so maybe in the near future they should have airconditioned rooms and they should tell us upfront that breakfast must be booked if your reservation does not include this service. And many thanks to this hotel for the lovely time we spent in this beautiful polish city.

Good things · Location, it was close everywhere. Breakfast was tasty, possible to get espresso from the bar on request. Room had enough space. Not so good· Breakfast not available in my hotel but on another one, you need to move via basement parking or walk outside. WiFi connection was very bad and speed to low sonot possible to remote work. Entry to underground parking is terrible… it is designed to car size of smart with my Audi A6 I struggled a lot to drive in via gate. Bed was very hard … not very comfortable. Air-conditioning was very noisy so we need to switch it off.
