I booked a stay at Villa Ibarra to celebrate my wife's birthday, and we had an absolutely wonderful experience!
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The highlight of our stay was the stunning view of the Taal Volcano from our room. Waking up to such a breathtaking sight every morning was truly magical and added a special touch to our celebration.
We were also delighted to encounter a lot of wild monkeys around the property. It was such a unique and exciting experience that made our stay even more memorable.
The breakfast at Villa Ibarra was fantastic. There was a wide variety of delicious options, and everything was fresh and well-prepared. It was the perfect way to start our day, and we looked forward to it each morning.
One of our favorite features was the cozy jacuzzi. It was the ideal place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. The warm water and serene atmosphere made it a perfect spot for some quality time together.
Overall, our stay at Villa Ibarra was exceptional. The combination of the stunning Taal Volcano view, the exciting wildlife encounters, the delicious breakfast, and the relaxing jacuzzi made for a perfect birthday celebration for my wife. I booked a 2 nights for my parents as an anniversary gift. The booking was prepaid online but when my parents arrived they kept them waiting for a while because they cannot find the booking reference number. I have contacted trip.com and it has been confirmed that the payment went through (around 1,600 rmb).
After their stay, the hotel still kept calling and asking about my credit card details. It was bothersome and annoying. I have contacted and was assured by trip.com that the payment went through several times.
I felt annoyed because I booked online for the convinience and hassle-free experience. The trip.com costumer service were amazing but the hotel costumer service needs to be improved and stop hassling their guests all because they have a problem with their connection and partner supplier.

I booked a room on the third floor, and it was a bit difficult to go up. The room has a lot of pillars, and the height is a bit short. Tall people can easily bump their heads. The sanitation is quite clean. The big terrace is excellent, and I booked it for the terrace. The disappointment is that it rained heavily every day for a few days, the experience was a bit discounted, it was very cold, oh yes, I went with my friends for New Year’s Eve, and I couldn’t book a room for New Year’s Day😂

Lechon Belly is one of my favorite and the best part is you can create your own Halo-halo. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. Villa Ibarra Tagaytay truly provided a memorable and satisfying experience for our family, blending luxury, comfort, and stunning natural beauty in perfect harmony.

Very nice view of the Taal. Friendly service. Food is average, nothing extra special (for me). The serving is generous though (main dishes, appetizers), it can be shared by 4 people max I think. You'll be charged a bit if you ask them to pack your leftovers (for the containers).
