The hotel exceeded my expectations! The room was clean and tidy, recently renovated. The staff were friendly and professional, and the hotel restaurant chef's cooking was excellent, with dishes that weren't overpriced! Even the other food options within the hotel were reasonably priced!

Nice staff and clean room. The absence of shower is clearly indicated before booking but still a big downside. Curtains around the beds would be nice to preserve intimacy.

The location is good ,right at the pass going up to mountain top. But the building is old and service is basic. Noice from the street vendors is non stop whole night. Not the best experience for such hotel charge.

The location on Trip.com is wrong. It is actually at the split when you are at the square. It's hard to see the entrance because the entrance is at a higher level. Look for the Red Cross sign. For the shared rooms, there is only a common bathroom with a few toilets/urinals, no shower. Upper or lower bunk is on a first come first served basis. There is 1 kettle and 2 cups for 12 pax. There's a group guide to the viewing area. It's near the meteorological station. The room faces the road it was noisy the whole night and morning. Check-in was effecient and polite.

Very good front desk, good kitchen staffs. For sunrise viewing, good organization. We all gets morning calls, and as a group, walk together to view sunrise. Highly recommend. Take credit cards for restaurant meals, too.

The hotel is fine given that it is located on top of a mountain but the sound proofing is awful. Since people are waking up very early (breakfast sit a 4'30 and the sunrise is at 5'45), if you skip breakfast you will be awoken at 4am anyway.

The location of the hotel is very good.Especially suitable for Taishan to watch the sunrise.There is a buffet for breakfast.But there is nothing to eat.On the whole, don't be too demanding.Just get some sleep.
