Twinstar Hotel

Booked the executive double room for my husband and I and also booked another Triple Room for my sister, nephew and mom. We chose this hotel because it's close to the train station and next to a shopping mall! The hotel is older but we needed a better, firmer bed (we had a bad experience at another hotel) and decided to book Twinstar Hotel urgently. Definitely slept way better here!!!

It really close to train station and convenience store. But the place really old and dusty not recommended to stay if your allergy on dust.

Hotel location is very central, right in front of Taichung train station, and next to a shopping mall. However, there's no disposable toothbrush and toothpaste provided.

Excellent location and friendly hardworking staff. But this is one of the worst hotel I have stayed in. The room has the necedsary furniture but they are run.down. The owner apparently only cares about himself. For an example I have posted a photo of curtain with holes. The bed was firm but ok. The bathroom was actually not bad. Only strange thing was that there was no toilet roll holder. There never was one as there are no holes on the wall either. Housekeeping worked hard but with the state of the room, there's only so much they can do. The breakfast was strange. If something ran out they are instructed not to refill I guess. Even the coffee machine just gives you a slightly coloured water. Someone complained about bed bugs in some review, but we had no such problem. With an excellent location, I regret to say that the hotel is in a pathetic state. As the owner only likes to count money. So sad.

Great location. But the hotel needs improvement: 1. The hotel is very run down. 2. Cleanliness: not too much. 3. The bedding should be checked first, my son got a lot of bed bites when he woke up. 4. The breakfast is very basic. 5. Refrigerator is not working. Good points: 1. The staffs are very friendly. 2. The location is very great

Great location near train and bus stop Shopping mall is next door (try long pizza in basement!) Good WiFi and decent breakfast for the area Little loud guests can be heard on hallways

Old hotel so the interior is not modern but location is good. Include breakfast, just regular local food with limited option but good enough for non picky eater and budget traveller.
