This property is a refurbished department store that underwent a transformation into a super cool hotel. They have a beautiful gin bar with very knowledgeable staff. The breakfast is international and decent. I particularly appreciate Roxy the front desk manager for helping us so much during check in. We will stay here again when we return to taichung.

I had such a great stay at Taichung Oku Hotel! The place has a super stylish design—everything feels modern and chic, which made the whole vibe really enjoyable. My room was spacious and comfy, way bigger than I expected, so it was perfect for relaxing after a day out in Taichung. The guest service team was fantastic too—friendly, helpful, and always ready to make things easier. They really added to the experience and made me feel welcome. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I’d definitely come back again. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a hotel that combines great style, comfort, and service!

Being a new hotel, it was very clean. I really enjoyed the unique Kingsman and Alice in Wonderland-themed experience! All the staff were incredibly friendly. I had a wonderful and relaxing stay.

Nicest designed hotel that I have been in all these years. With a nice lobby bar that spans 3 floors. Big comfy family room with art deco design. Nicely designed toilet and tub as well. Night market selling food around the hotel area. There is also a family mart below the hotel. Very good hotel and everything smells great and expensive. Good breakfast selection too.

My wife absolutely loved this hotel. We were disappointed we couldn't book it this time. The room was beautiful. I highly recommend everyone to come and see if it's as great as I say, especially regarding the environment and hygiene.

Art decor whimsical style with gold opulent elegance; very aesthetic hotel. Breakfast buffet is good quality. The toilet has no door though. Location is at the corner of road junction along shop houses street. No shopping mall near but lots of hidden food gems that comes recommended by the hotel

Very beautiful lobby area. Location is excellent for city exploration with it being close to the train station and numerous bus stops. The room was real and the minibar comes included with the hotel room. Very comfortable stay for my weekend trip in Taichung!

Love the layout and view from the hotel. Location is quite strategic too. There are a few night markets nearby too.
