Hotels in Sea of Flowers In Shinshe, Taichung

The following is my personal experience, only for the reference of consumers who choose hotels: 1. After entering the registration of Daxuan, the counter informed that you need to wait until 3:30 pm to enter the room (this is normal), and it took a long time after 3:30. I went to the counter and asked (can't wait) before getting the room card (the counter is busy). 2 During the waiting period for entering the room, ask the counter about the dinner reservation: no seat, how to book the room without dinner (I only knew when I got the room card, I didn't say that I had a reservation, and the counter didn't ask, who to blame)! 3. After entering the room, wow! A big room (really big, it cost money, I didn't expect it to be related to an unpleasant one the next day). 4. Take a swimsuit to the hot spring to go to the hot spring! Soaking, wearing a breast mirror, I feel that there are little things in my eyes swimming around (I believe that everyone with experience knows: the water quality may not be very good!), and it didn't take long to get up (and there is no evidence). 5. Go back to the room to watch TV, just the next day is the NBA champion warriors to the knights 4th battle, today replay the 3rd battle, the TV volume fluctuates, even no sound (the room is so big, the TV is super two lights, people who want to be interested in the NBA will not feel good! But, anyway, no protest is to give up rights). 6. Eating! Ugh! It's really all color and fragrance (after going home to the Internet, I found out that there are also netizens who think that the meal is very ordinary and the price is very expensive, but I believe that the hotel must know that it will definitely bring instant noodles to play). 7. Before going to bed at night, please counter 8:00morning call, as a result, my God! The next day, I can sleep until 9:30 (call the counter, the counter said that in order to avoid the cleaning that starts at 10:00, it will affect the hygiene, you can pack it back to the room to eat, it's great! You can eat while watching!) 1 person to get it! But a family of 4 people got 2 people's tableware. It was really angry while loading it. Finally, when I asked for more tableware, I was angry. The following content is still more and more angry. The hotel manager said: (1) The service staff did not show the meal coupon, Therefore, the tableware for 2 people (do you want it for customers? Do you know how many people stay? Even the customer asks again. ) (2)morning call has a record, it may be because the rain is too loud to hear and has been checked (the room is large (mentioned before) and the sound insulation is very good, but the door and indoor sky view window are poorly soundproofed! I can hear the shouting downstairs and walking next door! Don't rely on rain. Business people should pay more attention to it! To avoid damaging the contract.) Afterwards, say good things to other families and give gifts (what are you angry with the family for doing good people and receiving gifts for rest? Otherwise what do you want?) Now think about it, The front is all endured, why can't you endure it to the end? However, Taiwan's tourism and personal dignity are put on that again? This is the first time in my life to express my opinions online, and I will respond to the Taichung Municipal Government. Please ask the mayor to re-selection, and do not cause the negative impact of Taichung City tourism and mayor's governance.

The hotel is right next to Taichung train station and Tarako mall which both have food court with many food options. There are buses around the station can take you anywhere around Taichung including Sun Moon lake. The buffet breakfast was good with mainly Chinese/********* food options. We stayed in a family room which was just big enough and had space to be able to open our suitcases. The staff were very polite.

I was allocated upper bunk beside Aircon. The air ventilation in the bunk is poor. It is stuffy and hot because accommodate many people inside the dorm. It was difficult to climb to upper bunk. There was smell inside toilet. One of the hair blower is not working.

The service was excellent!! Left my jacket accidentally during check-out and I was already on my way to Taipei. Love their efficiency and they heard about my situation and was kind enough to mail it to my hotel stay in Taipei 💕

Would like to highlight an issue we encountered with regards to our deposit and certain charges that were made to us but which we had not incurred. When we were checking out, we asked to have a look at our statement of charges as we understood that any additional charges would be offset by the deposit placed with the hotel. We had dinner at ”The Prime -Grill and Lounge” on one of the nights and just wanted to check if the charges were right. The statement showed 3 separate bills that were not incurred by us and were all purchases of alcohol, which we found strange. When we brought this up with the front desk, the staff did not seem surprised at all with the error or sought to verify the same anywhere nor were we given any apology for the mistake. It was as though she already knew that those 3 charges were unanauthorised transactions and said that the hotel would rectify the issue with the bank in respect of our deposit. The front desk was also very adamant to not let us speak to her manager about the issue. We just wanted to highlight the above because we would usually just trust the hotel to refund the right amount of deposit without checking, especially when using credit card to pay the same. But it may be worth checking when it comes to this hotel as based on the reaction which we got from the front desk, it seems that such mistakes whether intentional or not have happened before. We also hope that the hotel would do some sort of investigation into how issues like this could happen.

In overall, my first stay in Tempus with a pleasant experience. Located in downtown so pretty convenient to department stores nearby. Bathroom seems clean and well maintained despite its age and history(30yrs). We had a goop sleep last night :)

This time I booked a twin room. It’s pretty good that children can stay for free. There are many facilities, but I only used the sauna. It was very clean and there were not many people. I will stay again if I have the opportunity next time.

Most of the staffs are friendly and so helpful. Except for one female receptionist, I found her a bit rude and not helping at all. Due to the typhoon on 27 July, I was thinking to extend my room, she just rudely said that my room already booked so unable to extend n she didn't even trying to give more assistance. When I asked if there's other available twin room. She continued rudely said that they have n I need to check out at 11am and checkin again at 3pm. this type of receptionist has no people service attitude. She not suitable to be a receptionist. The room without window is clean but quite smelly, not sure what smell is that. First time encounter something like this. Even when stayed in 2 different hotels without window back in Taipei the room was fine.

It's about a 5 minute walk from the station, and opposite Miyahara Ice Cream. Good location with good facilities like a gym and laundry within the hotel. Room is sizeable and good, but some improvements could still be done for the hotel such as better charging ports (the ones beside bed are fixed to a certain USB type) as well as a cabinet to hang clothing and towels. Overall, highly recommended if you are looking for a stay in Taichung.
