Booked this last minute for my family right before Chinese New Year. It's super close to the train station, and the room was spacious and quite clean. Very good 👍

The alley was a bit hard to find, but manageable. We didn't realize we needed to contact the guesthouse in advance for the access code. Luckily, we ran into some other ********* travelers who clued us in, and we quickly contacted the guesthouse to resolve the issue. The room was on the top floor, so climbing the stairs was a bit warm, and there's no elevator. Thankfully, we didn't have much luggage. The room itself was very spacious and comfortable. We loved the mattress setup – no bed frame, just the mattresses. For three of us, there were three large beds with plenty of room to spare.

The hot water was inconsistent, sometimes hot and sometimes cold.

It was good.

The room I stayed in was on the third floor, but the guesthouse didn't have an elevator, and the stairs were higher and steeper than usual. Carrying my large luggage upstairs on the first day was already difficult, and carrying it downstairs at check-out was an even bigger challenge. Even when going up and down the stairs normally, I felt a bit unsafe and had to be extra careful. Additionally, there was no kettle in the room, and no water dispensers on each floor, so I had to go down to the first floor to fill up and carry it back to my room, which was inconvenient for travelers staying on higher floors. However, the room itself was clean and more spacious than I expected. Before checking out, I mentioned to the staff that I almost fell several times going up and down the stairs on the first day, and they immediately offered to arrange for someone to help with my luggage. In the end, someone did come to help, and I was very grateful. Overall, backpackers or travelers with small luggage shouldn't have too much of a problem; but if you're traveling for several days like me with large luggage, you might want to consider this more carefully. I'm still very grateful to the staff who were willing to help with my luggage; they were a huge help. The room I stayed in was on the third floor, but there was no lift. That said, the room itself was clean and surprisingly spacious. Before checkout, I mentioned to the staff that I had almost fallen several times while using the stairs. They immediately assured me that someone would help with my luggage on departure day, and they kept their promise. I was very grateful for that assistance. Overall, this place is probably fine for backpackers or travelers with small luggage. However, for longer trips with large suitcases, it may be less Convenient. Special thanks to the staff member who helped me with my luggage—it made a big difference to my stay.
