Hotels in Shanhua District, Tainan

Although it is not a five-star hotel, the service is very good. We booked a shuttle bus from the high-speed rail station. The bus was new and clean. The hotel manager Lin was very considerate and tried his best to meet our needs. If you bring children to stay, it is recommended to participate in the kiln control itinerary, which is very fulfilling and takes about five hours. While waiting for the kiln to come out, the children are also arranged to visit grandma's vegetable garden and go fishing. Adults and children are happy. The lobby on the first floor also provides 24-hour free drinks and biscuits. There are also midnight snacks in the evening. It is a bit disappointing that the counter announced that the midnight snack is small rolls of rice noodles. I was looking forward to it, but it turned out to be small meat dumplings, but it was also delicious. There is also Hong Kong-style dim sum on the first floor. We did not make a reservation in advance, but unfortunately there were no seats. I highly recommend this hotel for children to play 🤣

The breakfast is diverse and nutritious, and there are newspapers that can be read very well. There are large TV screens, jacuzzi, and steam bath equipment. The washstand is too old, and the refrigerator functions normally. It is considerate to provide snacks and drinks

This hotel is super close to the train station, literally right across the street, which makes getting around incredibly convenient. There's also a bus stop right downstairs, which is great. My only minor complaint is that the soundproofing isn't the best; I could hear people playing mahjong or cards. Still, the fantastic location for getting around definitely makes up for it. I really liked my stay overall.

Great location, right across from the train station. There's a 7-Eleven and FamilyMart nearby. The front desk staff, especially the lady, was very helpful and even assisted us with getting a taxi. Very convenient!

Great place to stay in Tainan. Super close to the train station. Lovely quiet room at the end of the corridor overlooking the (empty) swimming pool. Friendly service, and a nice touch with snacks available at 9pm. The hotel is older (still need a physical key to unlock the room door) but it's in great condition. We didn't eat there, so cannot comment on the food or restaurant. We thought it was very reasonably priced for our Sunday night stay and would happily book again.

The staff were very friendly and the hotel's location is super convenient, just a two-minute walk from Tainan Station. The room was a bit small, but it offered great value for money.

The accommodation is practical, essential, and clean. It's quite a unique experience that the entrance is inside a Family Mart; you go down the stairs and you're right in the convenience store, haha, definitely very convenient. On the other hand, its proximity to the station might be an issue for some – lots of people, constant coming and going, and noisy. The property offers 24/7 self-service coffee/tea packets. You can even make your own breakfast with bread, butter/jam/chocolate, etc. The idea of small events organized in the common room is a nice touch. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

Perfect location so close to the station and walking distance from most sites in the city centre. Cozy and comfortable room for my needs, big window, which means bright but also little privacy. The furniture is simple and slightly worn, but that’s fine. Very kind staff.

The environment is very clean, the bed is a bit low, the pillows are too low, I hope to improve, I will stay in Tainan next time, thank you.

The location is excellent, as it is minutes from the train station. It is a bit difficult to find, as it's in a back alley, but with Google Maps, not a problem. The room is very small, but managable. It is super modern and everything felt new and clean. It's a very convinient solution.
