Heyu House Hotel

Overall, it's good. Very convenient for travel, with a 7-Eleven right below the building. It's a shame the room isn't soundproof; as a late riser, I kept getting woken up by early birds. There's no fridge in the room, but there's a communal one where you can store your items. The staff are friendly and provide good service.

The location is super convenient! The space is very comfortable and has an industrial-chic vibe. I forgot to take pictures of the interior, but the soundproofing is also excellent. It's affordable and really close to Taipei Main Station. There's a massage parlor right next door, so you can even get a massage at night before coming back to the room. It made the whole day feel so relaxing!

I really liked the self-check-in process and how clean and comfortable the room was. It was quiet at night, but there was construction noise in the morning. If it's too loud, you can let the front desk know, but be aware that sometimes there's no one physically at the desk, so you might need to use their contact information to reach someone. Both the check-in and check-out procedures were convenient and straightforward.

The hotel is located near Taipei Metro's Z10 exit, but unfortunately, the exit only has stairs and no elevator, which makes it a struggle if you have large luggage. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from the hotel through the underground mall to Taipei Main Station. The hotel has an industrial style, but unfortunately, the bedsheets and towels had stains and weren't clean. The shower curtain also had many small black mold spots. The staff is only available until 11 PM, so by the time I noticed these issues late at night, it was too late to request a change. There were no slippers or bottled water provided. The curtains in the room didn't block out the light, so the morning sun woke me up. They offer self-service luggage storage, but it's unsupervised. Overall, paying over 600 Hong Kong dollars for one night, I don't think it was worth it.

I stayed here the day before my flight back home. It's super convenient for getting to Taoyuan Airport. The room was small and the fridge was shared, but considering the price, I think it's good value for money. The fruit tea (30% juice) I bought from the 7-Eleven next to the hotel was surprisingly delicious!

It's a livable place with a convenient location and decent value for money. However, it's not suitable for guests with high expectations, and you can't really expect much more for this price. All in all, it serves its purpose for those who need it.
