The location is super convenient, just across the street from Ximending shopping area.
Even though I only stayed in a bunk bed, it was very comfortable. The bed already had an outlet, and it even had a USB port, so no adapter was needed. Pulling the curtain created a private space, and I also got to meet and chat with my roommates.
The shared bathroom had shower caps, cotton swabs, a hairdryer, and cotton pads. The water temperature was good (though it occasionally fluctuated a bit).
The only minor issues were the shower pressure and the room card. The water pressure wasn't great, which some might find makes it hard to feel fully clean. And I kept forgetting my room card (you need to insert the card to open the door and turn on the lights). Sometimes I'd just want to go to the restroom, then realize I needed the card again when I came back (but if you forget it, the staff can help you open the door).
Everyone gets a large locker, and there are slippers and a big towel provided. The space for luggage is also generous; my 24-inch 'fatty' suitcase fit perfectly.
The staff were friendly and the front desk service was excellent. They tried their best to accommodate any requests, and always greeted me when I entered.
B1 has a shared common area with free massage chairs, desserts, tea bags, dried fruit, and marshmallows. There's also luggage storage, and coin-operated washing machines and dryers.
I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Taiwan. If I'm with more people, I'd like to try a private room.
Overall, I'm very satisfied.
