Hotel Relax V

I picked this hotel because of its proximity to the Taoyuan airport MRT since I had a very early flight. It worked out quite well; I was able to catch the first train at 5:30AM after a short walk. However, for every day commuting, it's not the closest to MRT station entrance/exits; we had to walk about 10-15 mins and crossed too many roads than we would have liked to get our hotel. Not a deal breaker though. I'm impressed by the triple room; the size is great. I had come from other hotels in the area, and my group of 3 hadn't been able to move in those rooms, so this one actually surprised us, and we were very satisfied.

I had a great stay in this hotel, they have a water dispenser as well as a coffee dispenser which is great. The hotel soap is really fragrant and the water pressure is great. The room is really clean as well, recommended!!

Good location, walkable to Taipei main stn. Hotel provided a free snack and recyclable bag upon check in. Do note that housekeeping is not done daily. You can request for your towels and trash to be taken out. There’s a self service laundromat at B1 at 50NTD per use. Washroom has dry and wet separation. When showering at night, there may be intermittent change in temp of the water but overall it was alright. No odour in toilet. Room is suitable for solo travellers, may be a bit small for more than one pax. For tv, theres no eg youtube etc but there’s a variety of channels available.

Ideal Location! Walking distance to so many places. With bus stops and train stations very nearby. As a solo traveller, this hotel area is considered safe and accessible, most of the alley around the area are lighted up and doesn’t feel sketchy. It’s a cosy room for a solo traveller, enough space to move around and has all the required necessities. Beds are comfy and nice to sleep in. Overall a hassle free stay! Would come back again here 🫶🏼

Great location near Taipei Main Station for easy transit. It’s also jus one stop away from Ximending

Excellent location and very close to Taipei station. A few minutes walk to Ximending. Staff is nice, room is clean. The bed a little bit too soft for me. Good sound proof and almost no traffic voice hear. Recommend.

HThe room is quite small (16 sqm). You can’t open two suitcases at the same time. Location is okay. A short walk to Taipei Main Station. The map says exit Z10 is nearby, but we usually walked out via exit Z4. There’s a water dispenser and a fresh coffee machine available for free. The water pressure in the room is very strong, even on the 10th floor. The toilet is great — a Japanese-style automatic one. Opposite the hotel, there’s a fried (baked) bun shop that’s super delicious. The queue was really long. Around the hotel, there are plenty of restaurants and bubble tea shops. There’s also Starbucks and McDonald’s.

Service and cleanliness is good. Location is great as well, very close to Taipei Station. However, noise may be an issue. I was on the 5th floor, but I could clearly hear the street noise, especially engine noise from large vehicles. I was also woken up by vehicles noises at 5am subsequently. But still overall a good place for a short stay.
