The Landis Taipei Hotel

Overall, the experience was excellent. The location, room cleanliness, and facilities were all great. The staff, in particular, were enthusiastic and professional. The only downside was the bathroom exhaust fan, which leaked during the night, forcing us to put a mat at the bathroom door, but it still got completely soaked. I believe it dried out the next day, so the leaking must have stopped sometime in the middle of the night. Aside from this, everything else was superb.

5-star price, 2-star experience. The room was dusty, the bathrobes were rough, and it took 30 minutes for them to check the room before refunding my deposit at checkout. This hotel has no coffee machine and no body lotion.

Excellent, very high quality. Although The Landis Taipei is a classic hotel with a long history, its overall quality has not diminished with age. From environmental maintenance and room cleanliness to the professionalism and friendliness of the service staff, you can feel the hotel's attention to detail. Although the facilities are not new and luxurious, they are very well maintained and comfortable. The overall atmosphere is calm and tasteful. It's a good hotel that has stood the test of time and one that I would be willing to stay at again.

Despite the exterior renovation going on, the hotel proactively offered compensation upon check-in, and there was hardly any noise, which I thought was handled very well. The doorman was very attentive and always offered to help with luggage. My favorite part was the breakfast; you could choose a main course, and there was a very rich and varied buffet section!

The staff's service, coupled with the spacious and exceptionally clean room, made for an outstanding experience. The price was also very reasonable, and I would definitely want to stay here again.

This was my second stay, 10 years after my first. This time it was for a family gathering. I thought there would be a sauna, but when I checked in, I found out there was only a single-person sauna. I should have called ahead to confirm.

An amazing hotel in downtown Taipei with a prime location, just a 10-minute walk from Zhongshan Elementary School MRT Station. The hotel is very new with fresh and clean interior decor. The smart room features, like the iPad and toilet, are particularly impressive.

I booked this hotel specifically for its Michelin-starred restaurant. It was very convenient that the hotel also booked the restaurant for me when I made my hotel reservation. The room had an antique feel but was very comfortable. As other reviews mentioned, the breakfast was absolutely delicious.
