The Tango Hotel Taipei Nanshi

The Tango Hotel Taipei Nanshi is in a fantastic location, right at the exit of Zhongshan MRT Station. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the beds are great for sleeping. There are plenty of department stores and restaurants nearby, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. The service is friendly, making it a top choice for high-value accommodation in Taipei.

If you can overlook the age of the facilities, the hotel's location is incredibly appealing, being just a one-minute walk from the station exit. However, the closest exit only has stairs. If you have heavy luggage, it's a bit tough, so you'll need to go to another exit a little further down (which has an elevator). The kids really enjoyed the jacuzzi. Although, the silver circular plate-like fitting on the jacuzzi's jet came off. It didn't affect the jacuzzi's use, so I just ignored it. If you can accept these points, I think it's a relatively clean and comfortable hotel in the heart of Zhongshan Station.

This is my third stay! The hotel is in a great location, offers excellent value for money, and the rooms are clean. The staff are also very helpful! The citrus-scented body wash among the amenities is lovely. They even provide a bag for you to take the soap with you. I will definitely be staying here again.

For anyone looking to 'shop quickly in a short amount of time,' it's incredibly efficient. The transportation is an even bigger plus. From Zhongshan Station, it's only two subway stops to Ximending, and essentially all of Taipei's core business districts are on this line, making travel costs very low. The rooms are what you'd expect from a business hotel: clean, well-equipped, and the bed is quite comfortable. Most guest reviews also confirm that the overall cleanliness and service are good.
