Beautiful big rooms, and beautiful old hotel. Very close to Daan park and famous Michelin star dumplings. Staff were lovely.
The room was big, bathroom was great, room cleaned daily, bonus afternoon tea for free.
Only down side was the room smelled like cigarette smoke, think it was coming through the cooling system and the place smelt damp.

Lovely hotel, right downtown. Afternoon tea provided but if you miss it you they will drop you a little snack.

This hotel is very close to the Metro and close to a park and where we wanted to be. The bathroom had a large bathtub and the bed was sufficiently soft. We found a fruit market close by and the hotel staff was very helpful in getting something printed for us.

Not the first time staying here. Returning because the hotel is conveniently located ie. near to amenities and subway, clean and reasonably sized. We booked a double room for 4 nights and we had a pleasant stay.

For a limited time to spend in Taipei, Rido offers excellent location and value for money services. Located right in font of Red Line MRT Daan Park Station, you can whizz your way through Taipei easily to the Not To Be Missed attractions such as Taipei 101 (3 stations away) and from there Xinyi Shopping District, Elephant Mountain trail (4 stations), YongKang small shops District (1 station), Taipei Main Central Station (4 stations), CKS memorial (2 stations), Taipei Museum (3 stations), Ximending (5 stations w transit at Taipei Main Central Station). And of course u can remain on Red line to reach Shilin Night Market and Tamsui Riverfront up North without transiting.
