Roaders Plus Hotel Taipei Station

The location is convenient, with a convenience store and a large shopping mall nearby, making it very easy to get around and access food and shopping. I'm very satisfied with the hotel facilities and hygiene. There's a kids' play area and complimentary water. Overall, I'm extremely happy with this stay.

Highly recommended! First off, the hotel's location is excellent, close to Taipei Main Station, and there are many bus routes nearby, making it easy to travel to other places. Secondly, the hotel facilities are comprehensive; there's a laundry room with 4 washing machines and dryers, and even laundry detergent provided. What's more, the staff at the front desk are very friendly and helpful. There's also a comfortable common area and a wide variety of snacks nearby. Finally, the room is clean, and the TV can connect to YouTube, which is super convenient.

The hotel is located near Taipei Main Station, but whatever you do, do NOT take the Z8 exit from the underground street to get there. It's stairs only, no elevator, and I had two pieces of luggage plus a stroller to carry by myself – it was incredibly inconvenient. It's about a 20-minute walk to Ningxia Night Market and Ximending.

The environment and the hotel are great, and the view of 101 is fantastic. Towels are changed daily. The only minor issue was that the mattress was a bit hard, slightly tilted, and wobbly when turning over (I'd consider a single bed next time). The hotel offers many facilities for children and plenty of snacks. The main entrance of the hotel is outside Z8; if you have luggage, take exit Z2 and walk for about 5 minutes.

The Z8 exit, which connects directly to the subway station, is right in front of the hotel entrance. However, there are no escalators, making it incredibly difficult to carry heavy, large suitcases up. It's actually more convenient to use the escalator at the K12 exit in the opposite K section and then cross the street. The room I stayed in this time had a great view and was a good size, not too small. However, the refrigerator wasn't cooling at all, so it wasn't suitable for keeping water, beer, or other drinks cold. It probably needs repair or replacement. The hotel is within walking distance of Ximending and conveniently located for using Taipei Main Station. The Airport MRT station is also close by. Overall, the facilities are clean. As for amenities, only basic toiletries are provided, so you'll need to bring your own personal hygiene items. Room cleaning needs to be requested by filling out a form and submitting it a day in advance. You can pick up complimentary bottled water from the 4th-floor lobby. Towel changes and trash removal can be requested on the same day. Usually, if you inform them before you head out, they'll take care of it while you're gone.

This hotel is perfect for families with kids. The rooms are bright and comfortable, and there's a Playhouse where children can burn off some energy. The pantry also offers snacks and drinks. The best part is the big screen at night for watching the World Cup!

I didn't stay in a themed room, and my room was quite small, but there were snacks, a seating area, and kids' play facilities. The location is great, just one station away from Ximending. The hygiene was good, and the housekeeping staff were friendly. However, you need to fill out a form in advance for trash disposal and room cleaning before they'll clean your room.

The room was cleaner than expected and the location was great. If you have luggage, you'll need to use the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Department Store elevator (exit via Z8 as it's stairs only) and walk for about 5 minutes.
