I was a bit worried because other sites mentioned that the supported languages were Chinese and English, but at check-in, they showed me a Japanese paper. The front desk staff, even with limited Japanese, explained things to me in Japanese or used a translator to communicate, which was very kind of them. Perhaps because there's no window in the room, the air felt stuffy and had a peculiar smell. I wasn't sure if it was okay to flush the toilet paper, but since there didn't seem to be a specific bin for it and it was water-soluble, I flushed it. There are almost no amenities! I think Japanese guests would find it more comfortable with slippers. You can hear quite a bit of noise from other rooms, but there were earplugs at the front desk. It even said ”Please feel free to take one” in both Japanese and English, which made me smile. The hotel is located between Taipei Main Station and Beimen Station, and while it's a bit of a walk, the access is good. There's a 7-Eleven on the first floor of the hotel, and many breakfast places nearby. I would definitely like to stay here again when I come to Taiwan. Thank you very much!

The location is great as it’s just walking distance to Taipei Main station and Ximen station (Entry/exit no 4). As some travellers mentioned the Taipei Main station Z4 entry/exit is the closest to the hotel, but when I arrived on 8 January 2026, there is a notice mentioned this Z4 entry/exit will close until March 2026 so I took the Z8 entry/exit at Taipei Main station. During my 6 nights stay, the hotel hot water is not working for 2.5 days. It’s quite frustrating as the weather is cold and I need to shower with cold water. Also the hotel soundproofing is not that great as I can hear other people talking at their room and closing their doors. The hotel provides water dispenser to refill water and also washing machine and dryer at the rooftop. Other than that, everything is great and it’s perfect for a solo traveller!
