Very lovely and warm homestay. Will give a 5 star if the stairs can be substituted with lift. Am very thankful to the host helping to carry my large luggage up 3 flights of stairs. Room is super cosy and bed is comfy.

The whole facility is very clean. The bedroom is traditional Japanese style tatami and we love the quilt comforter. It's so soft, thick and fluffy! This is the best comforter we have used in Japan so far! Really keeps us warm through the night! There's a small entrance gate and door to our room, which is so unique. The traditional breakfast served was superb too!

Great tradicional place to stay in Takayama. It is modest but very clean and the host was super friendly. A very traditional breakfast was served during the morning and they have bikes to move around Takayama which is quite helpful.

The hotel is wonderful. The hosts are very nice. The room has traditional Japanese tea sets. Kimonos are provided—it's really nice to dress up in your room. It's a very calm, quiet place. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable.

There is a mother-in-law at the B&B who understands simple English and is very kind. She also introduced some scenic spots. The B&B room is large and the environment is very clean and hygienic. But please note that you need to take stairs to get to the room on the second floor. The B&B has a bathhouse, which is subject to a pay-per-use fee. The location is moderate, opposite Kokubunji Temple. It takes about 6 minutes to walk from Takayama Station towards Kokubunji Temple. It is easy to find. From the B&B, you can walk to the Takayama Festival Hall, Kankawa Chaochi, Shimosan no Machi, etc., which is very convenient. There was an incident. I booked a room that included breakfast, but the B&B did not provide breakfast. After that, I returned to Hong Kong to handle the matter.
