The hotel's free Wi-Fi was slow and frequently disconnected. If you want to watch videos or have online meetings in your room, I recommend bringing your own."

The breakfast was delicious, with options like ham or tomato omelette. The rooms were comfortable. The spa had a pool, sauna, steam room, and hot and cold tubs, all free for guests to use. The hotel is located about 5-10 minutes outside the old town, passing a shopping mall with restaurants and a supermarket. The staff were proactive and courteous."

"Breakfast is served here until 11am. Breakfast is a little expensive since they serve lunch until 3pm, but the quality and variety are a little higher. For me, the baked beans were delicious. The location is close to the ferry terminal, so it's close from the ferry, but it's several kilometers from Riga bus station, which is not a problem if you go by tram. (I was able to get there in about 40 minutes on foot.) Each room has a liquid soap dispenser in the shower booth and sink. The hair dryer is attached to the sink, and there is a TV, but it doesn't have many channels, and it freezes and messes up a lot, so I don't think I use it much. There is a telephone but no electric kettle. The heating is just barely enough to keep me from freezing."

"This place may once have been luxurious, but those days are clearly gone. We booked four rooms, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing across the board. One room had a broken toilet, and it took a lot of insisting before they finally agreed to move us. Another room had a broken shower that wasn’t fixed until three days into our stay. We also found broken furniture, damaged curtains, a bad-smelling bathroom, a broken kettle, and a broken range hood. On top of that, it felt like the management simply didn’t care and charged extra for almost everything, including pool access, sun loungers, coffee, and more. The rooms weren’t even properly equipped for the number of guests, with too few seats and not enough cutlery. I definitely do not recommend staying here. Save yourself the disappointment and book somewhere else."

They changed the room and as we were going out, we asked if someone could help to move our bags to the new room. The guy behind the desk said no. I protested and he eventually agreed."
