A very relaxing hotel. Downstairs is the bicycle race venue, and you can see it clearly from the balcony. The view is great. It is a bit like a youth hostel abroad, and the room is considered large in Japan. The hotel also has a free shuttle bus to the pier, which is very user-friendly.

A very distinctive bicycle-themed hotel with a vibrant colorful exterior. Although it is a little far from Uno Port (at least 20 minutes walk), a taxi costs 1,000 yen. On the first day, I gave the taxi ticket to the front desk and reimbursed it in cash on the spot. The hotel has a shuttle bus to the JR station, but it is after 10 o'clock every day and there are fewer buses, but you can ask the front desk to book a taxi. From the balcony, you can see the bicycle track and the sea in the distance, and the view is quite wide. The restaurant faces the track, and I saw athletes training during breakfast, which is very interesting. The Japanese buffet breakfast tastes very flavorful, I like it. When we checked in, we were told that there was a public bath, which was a bit unexpected. In my previous experience, it felt that only hot spring hotels had it. This time, the city chain hotels I stayed in Shikoku (this is the Chinese region) all have public baths, hot springs, etc. There are sportswear that can be worn in the public bath in each room, which feels like returning to my youth.

It is also recommended as a place to stay for sightseeing on the art island of Naoshima.

The room is clean and small. It costs 1,000 yen to take a taxi to Uno Port. You can ask the hotel to help you book a taxi or rent a bicycle.

The transportation is very convenient. There are many drugstores and food downstairs. A few steps away is Soneban Market, which has a similar feeling to Little Dotonbori. It is also easy to go to Umeda shopping district for shopping.

The location is terrible, far away from the station, and the room is small. I don't recommend it. In particular, the charging standard for double rooms is inexplicable. When two people stay, the price is almost double that of one person. So why not all single rooms? The waiter threatened to enter the room and count the guests' luggage to confirm the number of people. Could it be the boss? In particular, it is not recommended that Ctrip list hotels that are involved in gambling. During the bicycle race, the TV in the room can only receive the live broadcast of the race and cannot watch it normally, and it repeatedly induces guests to place bets.

As you can see in the photo, the velodrome is right in front of you, and you can also see the ocean, giving it an extraordinary feeling. The standard room for one person is small, but it is comfortable and has a terrace. Also, the breakfast is delicious! It was also very pleasant to eat while looking out over the bicycle race track. However, the only problem was that it was far from the station...I don't think it's suitable for going to Naoshima or moving around for 25 minutes on foot. However, they will pay for the first taxi ride if you give them the receipt. Also, if there are no taxis at Uno Station at night, you can call one and they will come in 5-10 minutes.

Just like the description, very special design and matching, very comfortable. The location is very close to the pier and Uno Station, and it is very convenient to go to Naoshima Toshima.

Good breakfast, good service

The staff is very friendly and they are all doing their best to speak English. We didn’t know about the reimbursement for one taxi ride from Uno to the hotel. You need a receipt from the driver to be eligible. The front desk staff told us to just use another taxi ride to or from the hotel and the port and with a receipt they still did reimburse us. Renting an electric bike costs ¥3300 per day. Renting an electric bike on Naoshima is only ¥1200. Taking a bike on the ferry costs you extra and limits the choice of ferries as passenger boats don’t allow you to take bikes with them. The advantage of renting at the hotel of course is that you can easily bike to the ferry terminal instead of spending another ¥1000 on a taxi. Unfortunately, the bike I rented had broken brakes and ruined my day on the island as I couldn't safely bike the steep slopes without brakes. The hotel staff made sure to check the bike and reimbursed me for a day’s rent, which I thought was kind and appropriate. The room is very small with no space for an open suitcase, however well arranged and convenient. The shower is excellent, but the washing basin in the little hall was inconvenient and too small. The staff in the restaurant was very friendly and the food was good with the cook writing down a recipe for us. The breakfast buffet selection Western style was rather limited. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was friendly and modern and the biking ring gave it a special touch. We would rather choose a hotel right at the port next time as we found the distance between the ferry port and the hotel rather inconvenient.
