The Breeze Hotel & Villas

We Loved our stay in Tamarindo at The Breeze. The owners communication with us before our stay was so appreciated. Luca was a pleasure to speak to and he coordinated our surf lessons with great and patient instructors. We really enjoyed the proximity to the beach and that they had boogie boards for the kids to use. The housekeeping and grounds crew were all so nice and keep the place looking amazing. The pool and patio were refreshing and relaxing. This is a great place to stay and we hope to come back in the future.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Breeze. Jean marc and the entire team were friendly and attentive. They helped set up surf lessons, laundry, and even brought our daughter an aloe leaf when she got sunburned. Such a wonderful personal touch you wouldn’t get at a big hotel. This place is a true oasis. Beautiful and well-planned grounds inside a somewhat secret walled off area in the heart of the Tamarindo action. This 2 bedroom place was perfect for our family of 3. We saw giant iguanas in the trees (and in the pool!) and heard howler monkeys right above us at night. Every day something new! When I look back on some of the best and most relaxing experiences in CR, this tips the list—a true “happy place.” I cannot recommend enough.

Although The Breeze is close to absolutely everything you will ever need, including the beach, it feels like you are on your own secluded island. The villa’s have all the comforts of home and are clean, comfortable and spacious! The infinity pool is marvellous and a great way to end your beach day! The grounds are filled with beautiful greenery that is well taken care of. Jean-Marc the host, is most charming and very attentive to the needs of his clients. I definitely recommend this place and will certainly be coming back! Merci Jean-Marc and Luca for your hospitality.

This property was the perfect distance away from the beach and downtown. Easily walkable but away from the noise and crowds. Luca the property manager checked in with us every day and the cleaning staff was excellent. I don’t think I’ve ever had that level of daily cleaning at any hotel I’ve stayed at. It was a beautiful, quiet property- we did hear the howler monkeys one morning but never saw them :(. There is a hostel next door that you get some noise from but the quiet hours must start at 11 because it was instantly silent at 11.

We stayed at The Breeze after reading all the favorable reviews. I am so glad we did. First of all the property is really beautiful. The grounds are perfectly maintained. During the day it’s so peaceful. The pool felt amazing during the heat of the day. We saw howler monkeys, parrots, iguanas and the resident cat Miss Blue! The housekeeper was thorough and pleasant! The condo had everything we needed, but we only ate breakfast and snacks – there are so many wonderful restaurants in Tamarindo. The beach is really just a very short walk and everything else is walkable from The Breeze as well. Finally, I have to tell you about our amazing hosts Jean Marc and Luca. They checked in every day and went way beyond to help us with everything we needed. They helped book tours, gave suggestions on where to eat and what to see. You could not ask for better people!

Outstanting luxury resort in a super prime location. We shared one of the 2 bedroom small houses on site. It iincludes everything and is super comfy. The staff is amazing and a pleasure. We stayed 2 weeks while studying spanish next door at Wayra. Did I mention Monkeys?They delight us about every third day.
