Spacious 2BR/2Bath 5 Star Villa - Steps from Blue Water & White Sand Beach

Wonderful Was close to everything but still far enough away that it was quite. Melissa was GREAT! I would definitely stay here again.

Ah Tamarindo! The place is nicely located. It does need some investment, and its sad the owner is either not paying attention or does not care. Oven counter top is cracked and needs replacement, TV is burnt and speakers broken, Master bath shower pan was clogged. I unclogged. Wifi and AC went out on our last night All in all - It's a perfect wonderful little condo that is desperate for some TLC, and a deep cleaning. One thing we really did'nt like is the pedestrian door from the outside world to the parking and thus interior was constistently being left open by someone.

Loved ot Only thing I can complain about is I didn’t stay longer! This place was perfect, pool was excellent, loved this place!

Quiet & Spacious This condo was clean and a wonderful quiet retreat from the crazy busy Tamarindo ‘*****’. The patio was a perfect place to relax and the pool being steps from our patio was even better! The kitchen was well equipped and the washer/dryer offered convenience to do some laundry at the halfway point on our trip. We weren’t sure about the outdoor shower but ended up loving it! What a wonderful experience to shower among nature. Appreciated a couple of English TV channels and all the thoughtful extras like lawn/beach chairs, beach umbrellas & towels, coolers, movies, etc. Gated parking lot and building offered a safe and secure spot. Great place to stay!

Wonderful New Year's stay We stayed for a week starting a few days after Christmas until a few days after New Year's. The property is just as pictured. There were five beach towels, two beach chairs, two beach umbrellas and two coolers to use. Very convenient beach access across the street. The outdoor bathrooms were fine. Sometimes there were sand crabs or giant flying grasshoppers visiting! The air-conditioning, beds, full kitchen were excellent. Loved having a washer and dryer. We brought our own eco-friendly detergent sheets. We were very impressed with Melissa the manager before, during and after our stay. She was very helpful. We rented a golf cart through her and it was great. Delicious restaurants within walking distance. The pool was almost always just us even though all the condos were filled all week.We would stay here again if coming to the Tamarindo area. It's a few minutes by golf cart or car to the hustle and bustle of Tamarindo. We loved the quiet of Playa Lagosta. The sunsets are beautiful from the beach or rooftop viewing area. We used the shuttle to and from the Liberia airport set up by Melissa as well.

First and last visit We loved the location, the pool and the appliances in the kitchen area. Our interaction with the property manager(s) was less than we would have expected. We arrived on time with our driver from Liberia at 10pm, we had difficulty getting the door open the foyer was not lit and the key pad was difficult to navigate. When we called the property manager about our challenges she told us "I have two dogs to take care of and I'm unavailable to help". With the support of our driver, we managed to work through the problem, upon opening the door we noticed the door frame was very loose and not fixed while we were there for 9 days. The first time we met Melissa was when we rented a golf cart, which was the 4th day of our stay. There was no laundry detergent in the unit, we made the request and that was delivered later that day. Our flight was cancelled the day prior to departure, when we contacted Melissa she said she was sorry to hear but had another check in coming in and we would have to be out by 10am, this left us in a bind and we felt completely unsupported by her actions.We have been fortunate to travel around the world and stay in many different lodging types, this was one of the least satisfying and most difficult. I would hope the owner of this property reviews our comments and implements a standard that future travelers will feel supported during their stay and desire to return or share with their friends and family.
