The Beach Bungalows Tamarindo- Adults Only

The property is a hidden gem. The pictures don’t do it justice. We stayed in casita #6. The room was more spacious than I had anticipated. The breakfast was delightful and different everyday. We enjoyed yogurt, fruit and juice every morning with a hot item as well. Shannon the owner a s her staff are friendly. She assisted me with booking tours and transportation. 10/10. Easy walk to beach and fantastic restaurants. A car is not necessary.

I recently returned from my stay at the Beach Bungalows, and I can say without reservation that it was a wonderful experience, and I absolutely plan on returning. A friend and I shared one of the pool-side bungalows for 8 nights, and we even wish we could have extended our stay. From the beginning of the trip, the owners son, Kendall, assisted us in setting up airport transportation which assured a seamless arrival. Once at the bungalows, we found that the setup was perfect to be able to sleep in comfortable air conditioning, and lounge outside in our hammock or daybed providing us enough space to comfortably share the bungalow. The bungalows were so clean, we were provided with fresh towels and sheets every day, and we slept like angels every night. The grounds were kept impeccably clean by the staff, who were all so friendly and accommodating. At the start of each day, a delicious breakfast was provided to us where we got to chat with other guests and staff, which really gave a warm community feel. Each day, we received fresh fruit and eggs, and on one occasion, a delicious pancake breakfast made by Kendall's girlfriend Alex (shoutout Alex!!) The bungalows are located within walking distance to the cutest downtown and beach area, which was very helpful in that we did not require transportation. Though my friend and I did not leave Tamarindo for the duration of our stay, there were so many activities to choose from. Kendall was so helpful in setting up any excursions we wanted to go on, and even a couples massage that we received right at our bungalow. I simply cannot recommend the beach bungalows enough, and I cannot wait to return.

Quiet location in bustling Tamarindo. Small boutique property with outstanding staff. The bungalows are rustic and allow sound to easily travel through walls. They are small but comfortable. Most are on second floor which makes carrying luggage up and down a little tedious for us older folks. Easy walk to center of town and beach and refreshing pool on site make for a great getaway.

Shannon, owner and hands on operator, made this vacation 5 star. Cleanliness and rustic teak minimalistic accommodations made for 5 stars. Short walk, a few minutes to great food and beach made for five stars. Highly recommended for the non bouchy inclined.

Shannon was an excellent host. Nice breakfast each morning sat above the pool area. Our bungalow was clean and comfortable with daily maid service. A few minutes walk to the lively town and beach where all the action of Tamarindo is going on. The pool was great to cool down and relax in the hammocks and day beds under the shade. The bungalows are an excellent small, homely oasis to chill out and escape the corporate world. We would stay again with Shannon and her lovely staff.

Great location. Minutes walk to town and beaches. The host were very friendly and kind. The room are small and cozy, really just to sleep but and outside area, with sofa and hammock, allows you to hang out and rest.
