Located on the river and jungle surrounds. Rooms are unique, wooden with metal fly screens, no curtains so you really feel like you are outside. A few issues with hot water in rooms and you can hear everything and everyone else in their rooms so limited privacy. Beautiful inside pool so bring your swimmers. The food was excellent and the chef was creative in sharing a variety of cuisine. Meal times and activities are set times. Guides were excellent and lots of fun. Walking, boats and monkey feeding. Ivan and Iklair were our guides and made our explorations fun and informative. Great to explore this part of Peru and Amazon jungle.

The journey to the lodge itself kicks off the adventure. It’s about a 2 hr boat ride. Since the boat has limited weight capacity, the staff kindly offered luggage storage, and I packed a light backpack for my stay. This made travel much more manageable. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and unforgettable. The dedication and hard work of everyone at the lodge were truly inspiring—many of them juggle multiple roles, seamlessly transitioning from knowledgeable tour guides to servers, always with warmth and professionalism. One of the most profound lessons I learned from a guide on the first day was that nature will present itself to you—a reminder to remain open and connected during my visit. I found that by expressing gratitude and staying present, I had truly magical encounters. Feeding the monkeys was an incredible experience, and one even tapped my hand twice in what felt like her own form of gratitude. The lodge itself is well-organized, clean, and thoughtfully run, thanks to a strong, dedicated team that works together like family. Whether it was the manager, Henry, the guides, Walter leading our excursions (I regret not remembering all the other guides names), the staff seen cleaning the rivers, or the bartenders, Jacob and Eduardo crafting delicious drinks with kindness and skill, every person played a crucial role in making my stay memorable and special. I traveled alone, but they made me feel safe and cared for, which I truly appreciated. The food was delicious and served at designated times. WiFi access is limited to specific times as well but it was nice to disconnect from the world and stay present. The excursions are scheduled at specific times, but there is also leisure time afterwards. There is a pool table, foos ball, jenga, and other games available. There is a pool, so bring a swim suit. I forgot mine. There is hot water for showering, but sometimes you have to wait a few minutes. The rooms were comfortable, with screened windows that allowed me to wake up to the soothing sounds of nature. Every morning was a reminder of the beauty of the Amazon. If you are visiting, I highly recommend embracing the spirit of gratitude and connection—you’ll find that the Amazon has more to offer than meets the eye. My heart is full.

Awesome place to stay and relax while hiking and boating. Recommend maybe August to see more wildlife nearer the river. The treks were pretty short and everyone can do them. The lodge is awesome and the food to die for! There's Wi-Fi available as well. Great!

Our stay at EcoAmazonia lodge was excellent. The accommodation was amazing, cute rooms, daily cleaning and the food was the most delicious we tasted in Peru, everything fresh and handmade, different plate every day. Who could imagine a stay in the Amazon could be so comfortable?? The staff in the lodge were friendly and welcoming. The activities in the rainforest went beyond expectations. The staff has put so much work to create paths in the jungle that look natural and make the activities accessible to everybody. Each activity was a unique experience and the fact that this lodge is the last one deep in the Amazon jungle gives you a chance to be as close as it's safe to the wildlife. The guides were all knowledgeable and friendly.

We had an amazing experience in the jungle! Our guide Evan was fantastic and so knowledgeable. I really enjoyed learning about the plants and animals from him. Food was also delicious. Bungalows were space and clean. It was so peaceful to listen to the sounds of the jungle.

This is a rustic and quaint lodge cut out of the lush forest. Cabins are very clean and have insect screens in lieu of glass window panes. Makes total sense in the heat. The birds and howler monkeys provide wake up calls at dawn. The swimming pool is completely enclosed and well maintained. We loved all the new foods but they also serve regular for the less adventurous. We stayed 3 nights and staff guided us through the forest. We were thrilled with everything.

Disappointing and extremely poor value, especially compared to the Heliconia Lodge we stayed at in the jungle near Iquitos. It was like they were on a budget cost-cutting drive with the worst breakfast we had in our month in Peru - mainly bread and fruit and only powdered milk for the tea/coffee. When we were collected at the airport we were given 15 minutes to pack what we needed in to a duffel bag, which was a big surprise. In our haste, with limited space, some of us took the wrong clothing for the weather in July. We slept fully clothed at night as it was so cold and there are only insect screens between you and the outside of your bungalow. It is not really a three day package as most of Day 1 is getting there. Day 2 we had a long stroll through the pebble tracks on their property in the morning and a visit to an island where they feed the monkeys in the afternoon. On Day 3 they insist you all check out at 7am and then put you on the 2 hour boat trip back to Pto Maldonado, even if your flight is in the evening. Beware of when the guide puts red stripes on your face from a local berry. Once you have washed it off, if you get a tiny smear on the threadbare hand towel they charge you a US$15 "laundry charge". Basically a money-generating scam.

Great place to experience Amazon jungle. We saw some animals like monkeys, a deer sloths, cayman etc. but didnt see jaguar. Many beautiful birds. The guides were very knowledgeable and worked hard all around the place in kitchen and outside. Percy went out of his way to provide special meals for my vegetarian needs. I'll highly recommend this place. The walks through the jungle were very fulfilling. They are doing a great job.
