It’s pricey and the room wasn’t clean.

I had to fix sink and toilet myself. Room not clean. Breakfast was a joke. Ran out of coffee and cups.

Our stay was great. We didnt use any amenities but our room was better than expected. We would stay here again!

I want to first say that the staff could not have been nicer. We booked 2 nights for a big event at the fairgrounds and stayed both nights due to no other available. The room and hotel was filthy! The only bathroom available before checkin had feces all over the toilet. The rooms had not been dusted in weeks. The bathroom was moldy, tub broken with a drip and microwave was broken. The main carpet in room swept but candy wrappers under sink. Dead bugs in corner. Did check the beds for bedbugs and they were clean. Would never stay again. However the desk staff tried so very hard to please. They just had nothing to work with.

From check-in to check out the experience was horrible. I was charged twice and had to call the attention to the desk clerk who took one of the charges off however, I was also charged $100 deposit which will not be refunded for up to 8 days. there was really no reason for this for extra charge which was not disclosed at booking. The first morning the breakfast buffet had only a few items one of which were eggs, which were obviously spoiled, no juice, running out of coffee and some white bread for toast pretty much sums up what was available When we return to the hotel after spending a day at an RV show, we were gone about eight hours. Our room had not been made up. that was at 5 o’clock in the afternoon after making two request someone finally showed up at 9 o’clock in the evening to bring towels and make bed which was a little late at that point. At check out I requested my deposit be refunded and was told I’d have to wait 5 to 8 business days. I thought that was not reasonable considering they were able to refund the double charge for me, but there was no arguing with the desk person. Their customer service was very lacking. There was no real friendliness about the staff and they made promises they couldn't keep! At this point I don’t think I will ever stay at another La Quinta because of this experience, I think the corporate offices ought to be notified about this particular franchise, and how they treat their customers.

For a single overnight and an event at fairgrounds, there are few places closer. Less than 5 min walk to Gate 1 (and you avoid daily parking at the fairgrounds). The only one good thing I can say is that the young lady at the front desk (who seemed to work 24 hrs a day) was super nice and friendly. Everything else was filthy.
