Hyatt House Downtown Tampa

Hotel location, buildings, facilities and service excellent. Fitness facilities very good. Let down by a basic breakfast.

This was one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. Spacious rooms, wonderful staff and walkable to the canal area.

The property is beautiful, newly built / updated. The rooms are very spacious with all the necessary amenities and the hotel is within walking distance of restaurants and stores. We would stay again!

The hotel is located nicely and close to the Riverwalk and other interesting places to visit. Yet, the area was not noisy and we felt safe. The hotel is great and the lobby is welcoming and comfortable. We asked for an early check in when we arrived and were surprised that we were offered a room right away! I wish more hotels would do that if they have a cleaned and ready room to offer! The young woman (didn't get her name but she told us she lived in Clearwater Beach and commuted to work) was wonderful and friendly. Our room came with everything you expect in a high-end Airbnb: fridge, stove, sink, microwave, dishes, silverware, etc. The room was like an apartment! The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was modern and large. The breakfast was more than what we expected! There were china plates and real silverware and glasses! The eating area was large and had actual windows to the street! You could sit outside, in a cafe-like area. Despite the large number of the guests, there were no lines! The staff outside by the curb, who helped to store our luggage after cheching out, were helpful and fantastic! All in all, it was a wonderful stay. We'll be back! This was the BEST Hyatt that we have stayed at to the date and we have stayed at quite a few good ones in different cities! Though very large, it felt safe and welcoming. Almost forgot to mention the pool and the sitting area, with comfortable patio furniture on a floor below the pool! A great place to sit to read or relax!

Vacation trip - great location - walkable to everything. Spacious rooms - a little dated and could of been cleaner but overall satisfied . Beds were comfortable.

Parking fee is outrageous, but the hotel overall was very nice. The kids swam in the pool but it wasn’t very warm. The market area was out of most drinks/snacks and there wasn’t a store within walking distance so we had to buy drinks and food from the restaurant and walk across the street to the sports bar for dinner. The breakfast was lacking variety, just your basic eggs, French toast, bagels, fruit breakfast. For the experience, I don’t think this hotel is worth the cost but we were there during bowl weekend so prices were increased.

Breakfast was very busy and many items were running out and not being replenished. Bed was one of the best we'd slept in, unbelievable! Staff at reception didn't have the best English and didn't know much about the area and weren't sure where things were around the hotel. Downtown area of Tampa is defo business district and not much to do for tourist, yet very close to the port and the waterfront.

Our family of 2 adults and 2 kids had a great stay. The one bedroom suite was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the pool and gym facilities. The free breakfast was extremely busy and crowded, so much so that one day we left the hotel and paid for breakfast elsewhere. Valet staff were very friendly and helpful but sometimes we did wait longer than expected for our vehicle. Overall we would recommend this hotel for a stay in Tampa.
