Reviews of Hotel Centre Point Tampin

I have stayed at this hotel for over 12 years, but after this experience, I will never return. The maintenance standards have seriously declined, and this was by far my worst stay. Room 210 had a loud humming pipe noise that lasted nearly two minutes and repeated every 30 seconds throughout the entire night. It was impossible to sleep. To make matters worse, there was no staff at the counter after midnight. Guests are simply left on their own until morning. That is completely unacceptable. When I requested a room change the next day, the staff initially refused, claiming there were no rooms available and no refund possible. Only after repeated arguments did they suddenly “find” another room. The replacement room was not properly cleaned — the toilet smelled bad. Then we discovered the water heater was faulty. After maintenance “fixed” it, there was an exposed cable and a plug secured with only one screw inside the bathroom. That is a serious safety hazard. After 20 minutes of use, there was a burning rubber smell coming from the heater. We genuinely felt unsafe. Poor maintenance, poor safety standards, and poor service. This hotel clearly does not prioritize guest safety. I will not risk staying here again.

Booked 2 rooms for CNY, rain water is leaking from roof, inside the hotel room and at the walkway. The other room is flooded in toilet. The shelter at the entrance of hotel is fully parked with cars, not sure if they are staffs vehicles. We unable to pick up and drop off using that shelter as it was super heavy rain when CNY. Will not come back again, very very very bad.

Stay here for 5D4N in February 2026 1) the room smells 2) there are hairs and stains on the bedsheet upon check in 3) there are no free parking in this hotel 4) throughout the 5 days, no housekeeping. Towel was left on an ironing board along the corridor on day 2 only. I am not sure if they are for me room, or whether they are clean. Will have to look for other hotel in future

This hotel is under renovation right now (Dec 25) but it's still okay to stay there. Overall, the cleanliness of this hotel is good. This hotel doesn't have a cafe but you can find many restaurants near the hotel. They also provide a self-service kiosk to check in and check out with simple instructions. 👍

Near with mosque

Pros 1) The location is near to convenience store and mamak restaurant. 3)the room is big and comfortable. 4) the machine at lobby is very convenient.can checkout and get back the deposit easily. Cons 1) There is no remote TV in the room.i requested remote tv from the lady receptionist.and she told me someone will send it to my room.....they never send the remote to my room....very disappointed.

Terrible, water leaking when raining. No windows and very dirty. Small Town no choice, but really think twice if you have other choices.

I dun like tis hotel. Was so difficult to check in coz we arrived 11pm Deco is ugly, bed uncomfortable, not clean and room cannot even lock . Omg I hated my stay

Room is spacious and clean. It has smart tv, connected to wifi automatically. Easy to find food. Dominos pizza and 7 eleven is just a walking distance. Staff is friendly and helpful

Water dripping from Aircond,the side cupboard dusty,Aircond remote cannot see the screen,bedsheets are smelly, once I enter direct go to the toilet I was saw small hair everywhere in toilet n sink.. want to iron box but only have standy.

Run down, dirty, smells bad. And bad overall. For the amount paid go find something better.

The room rate is quite expensive compared to other hotels. For the same price, I could probably get a better room and hotel elsewhere.
