Arrived a bit late but was shown to my room and was really impressed with how comfortable it was. Clean, tidy and done to a good standard, the bathroom was lovely and the bed was tremendously comfortable.

Stayed here for one night and it was fantastic. Before we arrived they phoned me to give me details of check in which was a nice touch. The room was clean and beds were really comfy. Had breakfast in their restaurant which was amazing. Fresh toast, loads of butter, fresh tea in a big pot, bacon eggs sausage, all delicious. The staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough to help us. Fantastic visit, would definitely recommend. Would’ve given five stars but I’ve taken off just for the length of time waiting for breakfast, but it was well worth it. Will definitely return

I stayed at the Peel Hotel in 08/25 as part of a group of cyclists. The aim of the trip was to raise money for a charity and previously we’ve stayed in some poor accommodation to save money - however the Peel was great value for money. It was very clean and the staff were wonderful and really helpful. The food they prepared was really nice and freshly cooked and the catered for vegetarians. We all agreed - We’ll definitely stay there again!

Stayed here as part of a cycling group for a charity ride. It was a lovely hotel with very smart, clean and modern rooms, the bedding and towels were also of top quality. The staff were all very helpful and did a wonderful job looking after the 20 people in the group, with Sarah helping us to book the many rooms required, hire the meeting room for a private evening meal and then providing some wonderful food for us all. The breakfast the following morning was also top class and served quickly, which helped as we had a deadline to meet. We were so impressed, as a group, that we booked it again for next years ride. Could not fault the staff for the service and friendliness. Five star service. Thank you.

Great find in a fab location.
Clean, comfortable room. Lovely, helpful staff and easy to check in and out. Great location for town too.
Our only gripe was that the weather was warm and our upstairs room was uncomfortably hot, even with the fan provided. There was an air con unit in the room, but it needed an ice pack, so it didnt make any difference to us.
Otherwise, lovely hotel and would definitely stay again.

Just one night. Well organised and friendly. Sensible price. Parking. Good bed. Big bath towels! Quiet. Good choice of breakfasts.
