HanTing Hotel (Tangshan Hetou Old Street Yunhe West Road) ★★★
"Very close to Hetou Old Street, it's a convenient walk. Parking is free. The special offer room had an obstructed window, but they upgraded our breakfast and moved us to a different room free of charge."
Holiday Inn Express TANGSHAN DOWNTOWN by IHG ★★★
"The hotel's location is in the city center. Just 20 meters to the left of the entrance is the bus stop for bus #99, which goes to Tangshan Station and Nanhu Park. On weekends and holidays, you can catch the fountain and light show at 8:30 PM, which is definitely worth seeing. For breakfast, they offer pure milk and cereal, and the noodle station staff are very enthusiastic and friendly."
InterContinental Tangshan ★★★★★
"Everything else about the hotel was great, except for the service. We arrived at the hotel around 9 AM, and there were no clean rooms available. So, we stored our luggage with the concierge and left. We returned to the hotel around 11 AM, and our room was ready. Shortly after we entered the room, an intern from the concierge department knocked on our door to deliver a box of chestnuts. Then, about 20-30 minutes later, just as I had laid down and fallen asleep, another staff member with a pen and notebook knocked on my door to ask if I was satisfied with the room. I politely replied that everything was good, and they left. Since we were going out again in the afternoon, I immediately put on the 'Do Not Disturb' sign. However, the front desk then called me, saying they saw I had put up the 'Do Not Disturb' sign and asked when they could deliver the fruit. I had already put up the 'Do Not Disturb' sign, and another staff member had just left three or four minutes earlier. Why couldn't they have done everything at once? I really don't understand!!!!"
Shangri-La Tangshan ★★★★★
"My initial room seemed to not be incorrect, they immediately upgraded my room. Then I lost my AirPods (for the second time when staying at this hotel) both times a lovey lady named Cathy made sure I got them back, even contacting the rail company and getting them from the train. Goods great, pool is awesome. Best place to stay when visiting Tangshan and price is great"
Tang Xiao-Zhu · Tangshan Feast Cultural and Tourism Hotel ★★★★
"The room was very clean and thoughtfully decorated. They provided complimentary fruit, drinks, and a Tang Xiaozhu canvas bag with local cultural designs. We also got to skip the line at Tangshan Banquet and received free tickets for Hetou Old Street and the Tang King's Eastern Expedition performance."
Tang Shan Hotel ★★★
"Facilities: The bathroom is behind the bedroom door, which is inconvenient to enter and exit. The bathroom has a bad smell and goes directly to the bedroom. And the exhaust is directly discharged to the bedroom, which is a weird design. The rooms are not big, but fortunately they are suites, so there are fewer latches and they are enough. Hygiene: The hygiene of the guest rooms is so-so, either this or that is missing, which may be intentional. After all, I stayed for 4 nights and I didn't want to ask for more. Service: The breakfast is OK, not rich, but it is enough to eat. The reception is OK. Takeaway can be delivered to the room or delivered by robot. Environment: Generally good and convenient. The night view is good. It is close to the road and a bit noisy. The smoke extractor in the restaurant downstairs makes strange noises when it is turned on. There is a parking lot, which is suitable for self-driving. You need to scan the code at the front desk to park for free when staying at the hotel."
Pullman Tangshan ★★★★★
"Facilities: There aren't many facilities. There are some children's slides behind the building and a heated swimming pool, but it seems to be rented out for external operations, so people who aren't staying at the hotel can apparently use it too. Cleanliness: The cleanliness was alright. Environment: The hotel is right next to Nanhu Park, but the hotel's own environment is just average. Service: The service was very good. The breakfast was terrible. I don't understand how a hotel within the Accor group can have such bad bread."
Youyou E-Sports Hotel (Tangshan Wanda Plaza) ★★
Grand Metropark Guofeng Hotel, Tangshan ★★★★★
"This hotel is right next to Hetou Old Street, and the parking lot is huge, so it's highly recommended if you're driving. The hotel service is excellent and very welcoming, with free tea and snacks available in the lobby. They offer a shuttle service to the Old Street, but it's only about a ten-minute walk anyway. The breakfast spread is also super rich. I only stayed one night this time and didn't get to see the deer, but I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit the Old Street."

Tangshan Caofeidian Metropark Hotel
"The hotel room was clean and tidy, and the staff were really friendly and proactive in greeting us. The fitness facilities were also well-equipped. You can see the sea from inside the hotel, and the breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices. It's definitely my top pick when visiting Caofeidian."
GYA Hotel (Tangshan Caofeidian Industrial Zone)
"Very good environment"
Cao Fei Island Hotel
"The hotel environment is really nice, very close to the beach. Manager Kang at the front desk was incredibly enthusiastic and even prepared snacks for my child. We'll definitely go back if we have the chance! 😄😄"
Long Island Tourism and Vacation Hotel
"Before going, I read a lot of travel guides and was mentally prepared that "the food on the island won't be very good." Even so, I still can't help but complain about the breakfast—compared to the room rate, it was really cheap and perfunctory. However, the stir-fries and grilled skewers for lunch and dinner were decent, although the prices were on the higher side. But considering it's on an island, the higher costs are understandable, and the dishes we ordered were quite tasty. As for the room. We booked a standard water villa through Ctrip, but only when we checked in did we discover that there was actually no water under the villa. To fish on the balcony, we upgraded to a one-bedroom suite at our own expense. After two days, we figured out the tide pattern: the tide recedes every morning and slowly rises again by noon, perfect for leisurely fishing on the balcony, and we even caught some small sea bass and other pleasant surprises. The accommodation was the most satisfying part of the whole trip. The suite had amenities like electric curtains, but there was no projector or TV, and no refrigerator, which was a bit of a disappointment. Regarding room service, the customer service added us on WeChat upon check-in, and their response time was quite satisfactory when we messaged or called. However, one thing that was a bit uncomfortable was that we stayed for two consecutive nights, spending the entire second day on the island. It was incredibly hot and sunny during the day, so we could only rest in our room. The room only provided two bottles of mineral water per day by default, which was far from enough for three people. We asked customer service for two more bottles, and they provided them, but any further requests would incur a charge – frankly, it wasn't just about the two bottles of water, but it felt a bit unreasonable. I think each situation needs to be analyzed individually. For example, if we checked out on the second day, they could provide a maximum of four bottles of water, since it was only for half a day, but how could four bottles be enough for the entire second day? The biggest takeaway from this trip was that Dragon Island has fewer people, which I liked, but the island's facilities weren't well-developed. Professional tasks should be handled by a professional operations team. I sincerely hope this island will continue to improve."
Vienna Hotel (Tangshan Fengrun Linyin Road Branch)
"Good hotel"
Nanhu International Convention and Exhibition Hotel
"This is my first time to go to Tangshan, and I chose it very close to the popular Tangshan Banquet, which is only a five-minute walk away. The first moment I opened the door, I felt that there was no peculiar smell in the room at all. I really liked it. I have stayed in some hotels and there is a bit of a damp smell when entering. This place is really great. Because I was staying with children, the lady at the front desk specially gave me a small toothbrush and small slippers, which was really considerate. There are also fresh fruits in the room for free, and mineral water is also provided. It's rich and fresh in the morning and tastes great. Tangshan is very good. Next time I come back, I will choose to stay here. By the way, there will be a lucky draw and small gifts before leaving."
One courtyard homestay
"1. The overall experience is directly full! The room was cleaned spotlessly, the bedding was soft and sleepy, and the appliances and toiletries were all available. The landlord was very enthusiastic and sent a detailed route in advance, and the guides for eating and playing around were also patiently shared. Excellent location, convenient to go out, overall quiet and not noisy, cost-effective, highly recommended to friends!"
Home2 Suites by Hilton Tangshan South Lake Park
"The experience of staying at Hilton Huiting this time was particularly good. The front desk staff was warm and courteous, the check-in was efficient and fast, and the questions were answered patiently. The service was very warm. The hotel delivery robot is very convenient, and the takeaway can be delivered directly to the room. The environment of the Oasis sofa area is elegant, the sofa is soft, and it is particularly comfortable to relax here in your leisure time. The rooms are clean and refreshing, with complete facilities and clean and tidy public areas. The whole is suitable for business trips or short trips. I am very satisfied in all aspects. I will choose here next time."
Crystal Hotel Tangshan Fengnan Hetou Old Street
"The room was very clean, and it's super close to all the attractions. The front desk staff were all really friendly and welcoming."
Maison New Century Hotel Lubei Tangshan
"This is my go-to hotel for visitors to my area. It boasts an excellent location and attentive service, consistently delivering a pleasant surprise with every stay. While it's been open for a while, the facilities are still very well-maintained. Highly recommended."
JI Hotel (Tangshan Railway Station)
"A very cost-effective hotel with good facilities, environment and services. It is not far from Nanhu and Tangshan Yan. The parking lot is relatively large, but it is shared with a dental hospital and China Unicom, so the parking spaces are not very abundant. The air conditioning in the room is not very effective. It will take some time for the temperature inside the house to drop, so it is recommended not to turn off the air conditioner if you go out to play."
