Great hotel , I chose this hotel because it is near airport as I took a very early flight, but the shuttle bus is full unfortunately and I have to take taxi finally. Not hotel fault but just disappointed. Pls make sure you will book the shuttle bus in advance if you have early morning flight.

My quarantine stay at Monarch was excellent. Since I was a frequent traveler and had stayed there a few times before, they upgraded me to an executive room for my 8-night stay. I truly enjoyed the many big windows, the great view, and the renovated room with the spacious bathroom. My room number was 1206 and I strongly recommend it. Effective 8/6/22, Monarch changed back to a regular hotel with no options for quarantine stays. My husband and I stayed here in Mid-August for 2 nights with free breakfast delivered to the room. We stayed in room 1402, which was a corner renovated room and not bad, but not nearly as spacious as the previous room. Both rooms had views facing the scenic park and that helped make our stays very satisfying.

We stayed in a room for 6 pax.the room was spacious. it provided separate room for bathtub, shower and toilet. When called housekeeping for toiletries, a machine robot will bring up to your room and called the room to inform us that it arrived outside our room so we can pick up from our room. It is so convenient to go X park from cozzi Blu hotel. We just took the lift to level 2,turned out from cozzi market side , the x park was there. We walked to outlet from the bridge at level 2 too.

Also it is a good overnight stop for last minute shopping in Global Mall which hotel is connected to. Plenty of food stalls outside hotel as well. The location is good. There is a supermarket downstairs next to the hotel, which is very convenient. This check-in was not pleasant because I had to wait for 3 hours. I placed an order at 14:40 and arrived at the hotel at 15:10. The counter had not received my order yet. At 18:00, I asked Ctrip and the reply immediately confirmed that it was OK. Ctrip handled it in time and I I asked if the counter was open again, and the answer was that I couldn't be found, so I would wait in the lobby. At most, I would go outside to smoke and then come in and wait. I went back and forth. The point was that I was waiting there. I also misunderstood that it was a Ctrip problem. It turned out to be a hotel problem. This is the first time I have encountered this problem in the past few years. In short, I just feel uncomfortable.

Everything was great for a short overnight stay as our flight was 8am and we checked out at 4+am the next day. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room is comfortable and amenties provided except the window area need some upkeeping. Overall the stay was pleasant for our family of 3. Opposite the hotel there's a big Kuan Nam departmental shop. On the right side, there are many eatery including delicious Braised noodle bucket stall and bubble tea shop. 😊 Wish the stay was longer as we didnt get to explore other area. Thank you for the hospitality!

Had a quick overnight layover in Taipei and chose this hotel because of distance to the airport. After arriving and going through customs, we went to the taxi line outside. The people supervising the taxi lines spoke perfect English and assisted us in telling the taxi driver where to go. Arrived pretty late but front desk was so accommodating! They brought up extra pillows and comforters (no charge). I am titanium elite with Marriott and received an upgrade to a larger room. The room was beautiful and spacious! It was updated and clean. They even left snacks for us in our room, which was such a nice touch! Bed, sheets, pillows were similar to a 5 star hotel. I slept like a baby in the bed. The staff also spoke perfect English. They assisted me in booking a taxi to the airport at 5:30 in the morning. They even gave me and my two kids bags of food to bring to the airport. It included croissants, yummy sandwiches, salad, other breads, yogurt, fresh fruit, and juice!! Such a nice touch.

The hotel was presented well, the room and bedding were tidy. The bathroom situation is x3 shower and x3 toilet stalls each for M + F. The showers were good, private enough and clean, they also provide basic amenities. The toilets are similar to what you have in shopping malls. They have coffee/tea available in the morning with some small bread which was nice. There's not much around in terms of food but there is a convience store 2-3min walk away. The rooms are not sound proof so you will hear people come and go throughout the night/morning. Recommended for short layover (don't expect too much)

First of all, yes, without question, this is absolutely a love hotel. With check-in offered after 6:00pm, condoms/lube bedside, a heart shaped tub, and discrete garage style entry into the hotel room, there's no question the type of clients this motel serves. However, I only needed a clean bed for the night, and an affordable hotel nearby the airport to catch an early morning flight out (1-day layover in Taipei), and this motel delivered on both fronts. The rooms were large, comfortable and spacious, and had all of the toiletries necessary for a one night stay - 2 bottles of water, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, bar soap, 2 dental kits, a shower cap, vanity kit, hair brush, razor with shaving cream, and a cleansing kit, whatever that is! The room also had a hair dryer, strong wifi signal, a mini fridge, an electric kettle, working air conditioning, a large heart shaped tub, a computer (which I didn't use), and the most massive flatscreen tv I have ever seen with English news and movie channels (and also porn, but I cannot confirm this for myself). 3-in-1 Nescafé, milk tea and 2 tea packets were in the room also. Beds were comfortable, clean (thank god) and I had an enjoyable sleep. The mattress was comfortable, linens felt clean/fresh, towels were fresh, and the room generally was tidy/clean! The bathroom has a sliding door, with separate stalls for the shower and toilet. Toilet paper was nowhere to be found, only a box of tissues, which I found rather strange! The plumbing in the room had a really bad smell - very off putting. It smelled musty and rotten. For one night, this was manageable, but for any longer, I wouldn't have enjoyed the lingering smell. This is not a hotel for tourists. I knew this going in, but it was the only affordable option nearby the airport, and I did get a good chuckle out of the experience! It was fine for one night, but if I were to stay in Taipei again, I would stay in the city centre, of course. The hotel suited my needs at the time, which were a comfortable place to sleep before an early morning flight. So, it was an interesting experience and surely one I will tell stories about! Note: because this isn't a tourist hotel, there is not breakfast offered nor is there an airport shuttle. However, staff arranged a taxi for me in the morning, which I appreciated. The staff here try hard to accommodate the needs of patrons, for lack of a better word. LOL! Overall, a pleasant stay, thanks for the laugh!

The people supervising the taxi lines spoke perfect English and assisted us in telling the taxi driver where to go. Arrived pretty late but front desk was so accommodating! They brought up extra pillows and comforters (no charge). I am titanium elite with Marriott and received an upgrade to a larger room. The room was beautiful and spacious! It was updated and clean. They even left snacks for us in our room, which was such a nice touch! Bed, sheets, pillows were similar to a 5 star hotel. I slept like a baby in the bed. The staff also spoke perfect English. They assisted me in booking a taxi to the airport at 5:30 in the morning. They even gave me and my two kids bags of food to bring to the airport. It included croissants, yummy sandwiches, salad, other breads, yogurt, fresh fruit, and juice!! Such a nice touch.

When called housekeeping for toiletries, a machine robot will bring up to your room and called the room to inform us that it arrived outside our room so we can pick up from our room. It is so convenient to go X park from cozzi Blu hotel. We just took the lift to level 2,turned out from cozzi market side , the x park was there. We walked to outlet from the bridge at level 2 too.
