From the moment I walked in, he greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel right at home. Throughout the meal, he was attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met. His recommendations were spot-on, and he even surprised me with a complimentary dessert that was simply divine! Connor's professionalism and friendly demeanor truly elevated my evening. We had 2/2 sleeplessnights, the bed had springs stuck in our backs in the first room, we then asked to change rooms, we were given a different room which the bed was slightly better. The second night we realised we had left something in the first room, it was an important part of my husbands cpap machine as he has sleep apnea. I went to ask at reception and they told me that housekeeping would of put it in lost property, I asked if I could look in lost property but the answer was “no” you will have to come back at 9 am the next morning. I tried to explain the importance as my husband can’t sleep without it as he stops breathing… the answer was still “no” so we had another sleepless night. I understand it was our fault for leaving this part in the first room but surely this wasn’t the first time this kind of thing had happened??? I felt it was a very unreasonable situation…. Surely someone other than the housekeeping staff would have had a key to lost property. We will not be staying at The Adelphi Hotel again. Regards Gill Sellars 1st room 676 2nd room 370

Never been to prison but pretty sure this is worse. Zero space,weird smell,plug sockets that didn’t work & not safe as the fronts came off. Sink was full of water,shower leaked and they have better quality loo roll in junior schools. Speaking of that,nothing better than looking at your partner through frosted glass as they use the toilet,even better cause you can here and smell everything!!! If you forget your alarm clock,don’t stress as the other inmates will either keep you up all night or make sure you’re up by smashing their doors shut. I genuinely stayed in a squat in NY years ago and it was better than this. We booked for 2 nights and left after 1 and paid £165 for the night across the road which was a palace! My fault for being tight but I’ve honestly had more enjoyable trips to the dentist than Easy hotel. Even their planes are better Oh yeah and the bed was awful too and slanted!! I’d sleep on the street before I stayed there again!

Just returned from a 3 night stay at the Britannia Bolton hotel having read reviews I was not looking forward to our stay but was pleasantly surprised when we arrived, reception and corridors all spotless and the room we received was clean, comfortable and bathroom looked like it had just been upgraded, the staff were all pleasant and looked after you very well. Our morning started with a lovely breakfast good selection of cooked items as well as cereal's, toast etc not a large choice for evening meal but the price you pay couldn't complain.

Dora the bartender is by far and away the best bar staff I have ever met. She deserves the world and I would come back in a heartbeat for her. The room is beautiful and the reception staff were effective and very efficient. A perfect place for a hotel, right on the Albert Docks next to everywhere we wanted to be.

We stayed on Sunday 10th September in Delamere, one of the courtyard rooms and started with a perfect Roast Beef Lunch. Possible the best we’ve ever had. Our room was really comfortable and well-appointed. Whilst the bathroom was small, it was cleverly laid out and suited us well. Good lighting for makeup, which makes a refreshing change from most places we visit! Dinner was equally as good (although one constructive criticism would be that the there should be a better variety on the Cheese Board. However we’ve not reduced our 5 * rating because everything else was spot on). After a very comfortable sleep we thoroughly enjoyed a superb breakfast. Great choice, generous and delicious! We enjoyed The Pheasant Inn so much that we are planning to give vouchers to various family members as Christmas gifts and will definitely be back ourselves soon. Thanks for a great stay.

I came to visit family in Chester and chose this hotel as it was close to the train station and a nice walk into Chester. I love the modern look of this hotel, the under bed auto light was brilliant for night time bath room trip no need to turn on the lights. The black out curtains do there job really well I almost over slept, the staff were very helpful when i asked them for help. i will stay here again next time i visit the family

We have had a lovely stay, and it would only take a few tweaks to make this hotel better. Good: *It's in the perfect location, we took an uber into the centre of Chester for less than £5. *Breakfast was relaxed with a great selection as a buffet service. *Spacious room with all the amenities you need. *Plenty of free parking. *Beautiful grounds and really quiet at night. *Great value for money Needs Improving: *Cleaning standard is average, black mold around the taps in the bathroom that could be easily resolved. *Bathroom floor was desperate for a good mop *Bed wasn't the comfiest as 2 twins fastened together leaving a gap in the middle. *Staffing levels affecting customer service levels, we decided to order room service, took an age to answer the phone and then said could be collected from reception, kind of goes against the point of room service, so we left it, not great for the hotels add on sales if that happens everytime. *No enough bar staff, we ordered food but it was cold and one meal was not what we ordered but too hungry to wait for it to be replaced, apparently fish finger sandwich is identical to fish and chips anyway according to the waitress! Like I said it won't take much for this hotel to raise it's customer service standards to an excellent level, more staff will fix most of the issues, despite everything mentioned we would probably stay again.

Location couldn't be better. Hotel is basic but serviceable, but I wish they had spent a little more on interiors for the beautiful building and interiors. You are in a world-heritage site but the room furnishings are basic roadside motel quality. It was particularly funny that the room itself was very large - with a basic double bed perched in one corner - there as room for a super king, which would look better and be nicer and only cost a tiny bit more. Bathroom was basic but fine. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lifts are small and slow, but I suspect that's a limitation of the space available and rules about listed buildings. But you stay here for the location and we were very pleased with that. TIP - don't bother parking at Liverpool ONE which is a hike away. Pay and display parking right at Albert Dock is essentially the same price and way more convenient
