This is a great place to stay for a reasonable price. However, the air conditioning wasn't very effective, so it was a bit warm. The breakfast was good, and I especially liked that I could pay extra for a late check-out.

В We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. It is not a new hotel, but it is clean, cozy, and comfortable. The location is great – it is easy and quick to walk to the city center. The staff were very kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet. There was a good variety of food, and everything was tasty and filling. The only downside was the swimming pool. We chose this hotel partly because of the pool, hoping the children could enjoy it, but unfortunately the water was dirty, so we couldn't use it. Overall, we had a good experience and would recommend this hotel for its hospitality, location, and friendly service. Rahmat! 🇺🇿

A retro-style hotel. Pros: Good location, close to a metro station, bank, public services center, market, mobile store, and delicious food. Quiet courtyard. There's a water cooler. They ask daily if you need housekeeping. Cons: Bad mattress, the springs are very noticeable, even with a mattress topper. Poor breakfast. The only fresh vegetables are cucumbers. Eggplant and cauliflower are fried in batter. Sausages are cheap. The cheese is processed. For fruit, only apples, and they're bruised. Instant coffee. If you go at 8 AM, the food is fresher; later, it's reheated with added oil, eggs are quickly fried, and the whites remain runny. Lots of pastries, but they're not tasty. In a single room, there's only one cup. No kettle, and the water cooler doesn't have a hot water function. I chose this hotel because I had issues with another booking. I had to choose quickly, and options were limited during the holidays. The hotel offers discounts and bonuses, it seems like management is trying to attract guests. But it would be much better if management reviewed the menu and invested in updating the furniture. Upon check-in, you need to pay an additional tax amount. I paid cash, and they didn't have change. I had to ask for my change several times. They still didn't give me all of it back. So, be prepared with exact change. The hotel has a pool, but in my opinion, the water in it is murky. I didn't use it. And I didn't see it being cleaned. There are two sun loungers by the pool. However, there are large trees around, so sunbathing isn't really possible. Overall, my impression is a 3 out of 5. I wouldn't stay here again.

The soundproofing is excellent and it's very clean. The front desk staff speaks English, so check-in was a breeze. However, the breakfast consisted solely of dry bread, which wasn't to my taste.

The price is cheap, the surrounding environment is good and safe, and there's a swimming pool. Breakfast is plentiful, and the rooms have air conditioning. It's very convenient to book in advance with domestic payment. There are also many dining options nearby, including burgers, Korean food, Japanese cuisine, and local dishes.

Nightmare Stay, Hotel Ghosted Every Complaint This is hands down the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at in years of international travel. Paid almost $60 total for two nights (tax included), and it was worse than a run-down 1990s motel. The hotel completely ignored all my complaints, and the booking platform couldn’t force them to take any action. I’m leaving this review to warn every single traveler out there. Disgusting, Unsanitary Conditions - Towels were faded, pilled beyond repair, and reeked of mildew. They looked like they hadn’t been replaced in a decade. - Both bathroom cups were left dirty, with leftover beard stubble and white gunk from previous guests. - I reported this immediately, but no housekeeping ever came to replace them. Not even when I checked out. Zero Soundproofing – You Will Not Sleep I explicitly requested a quiet room when booking. They didn’t care at all. - First night: My room had a connecting door straight to the next unit. I could hear every single word the neighbors said like they were sitting on my bed. A family with kids stayed next door, yelling and running around until 11-12 PM, then woke me up again before 7 AM. I have full audio recordings. - Second night: Even after that family checked out, I was jolted awake at 6 AM by people screaming and fighting in the hallway. It was still pitch black outside. Recorded that too. Everything Is Falling Apart - AC was ancient, took 10+ minutes to turn on, and barely worked. - The room key was so worn out it stopped working once. I got locked out in my pajamas, no phone, waiting for staff for ages. The Worst Service Imaginable – They Just Pretend You Don’t Exist 1. Complaints go straight to the trash: I contacted the platform multiple times about all these issues. The hotel never once reached out to me. Every time I asked the front desk, they acted like they’d never heard of my complaints. 2. Rude and unapologetic: When I asked for a partial refund, the front desk guy got defensive and snapped "no hotel ever gives refunds for noise". He claimed noise wasn’t their problem and they could only "remind" guests to be quiet. Then he told me to come back the next morning to talk to the manager – knowing full well I had an early flight to catch. 3. Shockingly unprofessional staff: The check-in clerk made a huge mistake and copied my expired old passport instead of my valid new one. I keep both passports in the same cover, separated by a rubber band so no one ever mixes them up. I’ve traveled to dozens of countries this way and never had a problem. This caused a massive mess when I tried to get my accommodation certificate at check-out, and they even tried to blame me for "giving them the wrong passport". 4. Zero accountability: Even after the staff admitted it was their mistake with the passport, no one apologized for the noise, the dirty rooms, or anything else. The entire hotel acted like my complaints never happened. Final Verdict This hotel is a total scam. It’s not worth even half the price they charge. If you want to sleep, if you want clean rooms, if you want to be treated like a human being – DO NOT STAY HERE. I have all photos, audio recordings, and chat logs saved, and I will be pursuing this further through other channels.

My stay at Retro Palace was a pleasant and memorable experience overall. The hotel offers a charming blend of classic design and modern comfort, making it a great choice for travelers who appreciate a unique atmosphere. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, professional, and eager to assist with any requests, which immediately created a positive first impression. The room was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully decorated with a retro-inspired aesthetic that gave it a distinctive character. The bed was comfortable, and all essential amenities were provided, including reliable Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a well-maintained bathroom. I especially appreciated the attention to detail in the interior design, which added a cozy and stylish touch to the stay. The location of Retro Palace is another strong advantage. It is conveniently situated near key attractions, restaurants, and transportation options, making it easy to explore the surrounding area without much hassle. Whether traveling for leisure or business, the accessibility of the hotel is definitely a plus. In terms of facilities, the hotel provides everything needed for a comfortable stay. While it may not be a luxury property, it delivers excellent value for money. The common areas are well-kept, and the overall ambiance is relaxed and inviting. I also found the check-in and check-out process to be smooth and efficient. One minor area for improvement would be the breakfast selection, which could benefit from a bit more variety. However, this did not significantly impact my overall experience, as there are many nearby dining options to explore. Overall, I would highly recommend Retro Palace to travelers looking for a comfortable, stylish, and reasonably priced accommodation. The combination of friendly service, convenient location, and unique design makes it a solid choice for anyone visiting the area. I would gladly stay here again in the future.
