Shirin2010I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. It is a brand-new hotel, and everything was modern, clean, and well-maintained. The rooms were comfortable and beautifully designed. Patrick BelfastThis is the second time this summer I have stayed at this hotel and everything about it is excellent. From the reception area and the greeting I received to the room, restaurant and many other amenities. The staff around the reception area were always ready to help and very attentive in particular Doniyor who really made me feel that he was genuinely interested in making sure my stay was as pleasant as possible. The room was, just like the last time, spotlessly clean with a very comfortable with an excellent shower. A cheap and efficient laundry service is available. The breakfast buffet was first class with an excellent selection of food. I also ate lunch and dinner in the hotel and the restaurant food was wonderful. I ate all meals at the hotel over my two stays and I highly recommend it. Again the restaurant staff and in particular Elbek were very efficient and food recommendations were spot on. The hotel also offers a very well equipped gym, a sauna, steam room and pool free of charge for guests with a payable spa massage on request. I want to give a special mention to Malika, the young girl who owns small shop in the reception area selling beautiful hand made jewelry, rugs, scarves and other items. Almost everything is hand made and that which is not she clearly points it out. It is all very reasonably priced and I was very happy to buy several items from her. I had an excellent stay at this hotel and would thoroughly recommend Swissotel Tashkent.
Finally if you are considering using Tashkent only as a stopover I would really recommend at least two nights and one full day as there are plenty of things to do including the metro stations, an outdoor train museum which was excellent, bazaars, a wonderful mosque and go take pictures of the Soviet-built Uzbekistan Hotel built in the Soviet Brutalist style with an Asian influence, absolutely beautiful and very different to the architecture found it Khiva etc. So I would advise, stay in Tashkent either at the start or end of your trip or both as I did and stay at the Swissotel. You will not regret it.

Guest UserAfter checking in, the experience was great. The room was very clean, and the exterior of the hotel was newly renovated. The staff was also very friendly. Husan was particularly helpful and always resolved any issues promptly. The breakfast, in particular, was incredibly rich and delicious. I feel like Layan hotel is the most cost-effective hotel in the area.

karyshiThe service details were impeccable, especially the offshore business services which exceeded my expectations. Communicating with Chairman Anxin of the hotel allowed me to gain a deeper and faster understanding of Uzbekistan's national conditions and investment opportunities in the construction and real estate industries that I'm interested in. They even introduced me to potential partners, which was fantastic! [Strong][Strong]

Guest UserThe hotel breakfast was good quality. The rooms were well-maintained and clean. It's conveniently located, and the front desk helped me arrange a taxi to T2 airport, which only cost 50,000 Sum. Overall, the service quality is excellent, and the facilities are modern. I'd definitely recommend it.

Ирина777The hotel is in need of renovation and updates. It's suitable for guests who aren't too particular. We stayed for one night, so it was fine. The breakfast was decent, and the staff were friendly. After checking out, we had some time to explore, so we left our luggage. When we returned to pick it up, they kindly offered us complimentary tea and coffee at their cafe. The location is quite good, not far from interesting spots like Seoul Moon and Magic City. Overall, for the price, especially with breakfast included, it's a perfectly acceptable place to stay for a night or two.

Guest UserSince the train to Samarkand was early, there was a hotel directly connected to the station and I stayed there. The entrance is certainly difficult to understand, and there is a hotel on the right side from the front of the station. The room had a high ceiling and was clean, but the shower room was poorly drained. It doesn't flow almost. There may be different rooms. Other than that, there is no particular problem.

Ekaterina EA retro-style hotel.
Pros: Good location, close to a metro station, bank, public services center, market, mobile store, and delicious food. Quiet courtyard. There's a water cooler. They ask daily if you need housekeeping.
Cons: Bad mattress, the springs are very noticeable, even with a mattress topper.
Poor breakfast. The only fresh vegetables are cucumbers. Eggplant and cauliflower are fried in batter. Sausages are cheap. The cheese is processed. For fruit, only apples, and they're bruised. Instant coffee. If you go at 8 AM, the food is fresher; later, it's reheated with added oil, eggs are quickly fried, and the whites remain runny. Lots of pastries, but they're not tasty.
In a single room, there's only one cup. No kettle, and the water cooler doesn't have a hot water function.
I chose this hotel because I had issues with another booking. I had to choose quickly, and options were limited during the holidays. The hotel offers discounts and bonuses, it seems like management is trying to attract guests. But it would be much better if management reviewed the menu and invested in updating the furniture.
Upon check-in, you need to pay an additional tax amount. I paid cash, and they didn't have change. I had to ask for my change several times. They still didn't give me all of it back. So, be prepared with exact change.
The hotel has a pool, but in my opinion, the water in it is murky. I didn't use it. And I didn't see it being cleaned. There are two sun loungers by the pool. However, there are large trees around, so sunbathing isn't really possible. Overall, my impression is a 3 out of 5. I wouldn't stay here again.

Iconic building for sure and the lobby looks modern, the restaurant on the top floor has great views, excellent service and good prices.
My room was run down, a bit dirty, the balcony looked like a construction site. Hallways dark, carpets dirty. No air conditioning in the room. Breakfast was average and not equipped for the large amount of people. Staff didn't know how to operate the coffee machine in the lobby bar. Overall below average stay and for the price you ll get much better options in Tashkent.

Anonymous UserI didn't like this hotel and wouldn't recommend staying here. To start, they put us in a room with no curtains. Why even rent out rooms like that? They moved us to a normal room the next day. The front desk didn't explain anything during check-in – where breakfast was, how to request cleaning. Overall, the staff wasn't very friendly, though a plus is that the reception is 24/7. Breakfast is a whole separate issue; I've never seen anything like it. Nothing gets refilled, and if you arrive at 9:30 AM (breakfast is until 10 AM), usually all that's left is buckwheat porridge. You literally have to go and ask for food from the kitchen, where they look at you like, 'What do you want?' Usually, they just bring out muffins. There aren't even basic eggs for breakfast. It's just awful; it would be better if they didn't offer breakfast at all. I went to breakfast exactly twice, and since I felt uncomfortable asking for food, I just stopped going – I've attached photos. There's literally no soundproofing in the rooms, and kids were running around from early morning. There was no cleaning at all during our week-long stay; they didn't even take out the trash, and I didn't see any 'please clean' signs on the door. The only positive thing I can say about the hotel is its convenient location in a quiet neighborhood, relatively close to the city center.
