The hotel staff super friendly. Especially, Mr Matsumoto San provide extra mile service to become our snow trekking lead to experience the snow hiking near the hotel. Snowshoe and equipment all provided by the hotel. There also have onsen bath. Really a great experience to those want to play with snow. The dinner and breakfast also very good. Strongly recommended to stay at this hotel.

Located next to Midagahara Bus Stop. Very homely feeling and responsive staff. Great breakfast and dinner as well as public bath. Lots of hiking trails near the hotel. Highly recommend.

This lodge is a wonderful base to explore the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route. You can walk the Midagahara wetland just outside, and then take the bus up to Murodo to traverse the whole way to Kurobe dam. Staff are very helpful, and breakfasts and dinners very tasty indeed. Recommended.
