We stayed at "Stay Taupo" last night. We were given a very friendly welcome by Ken and Marie. They are very experienced B & B owners and they provided just what we wanted. The parking was easy and free. The home was warm,, comfortable and quiet. We had a room with a super king double bed which was ultra comfortable. There was great attention to detail and everything we needed was there. Everything works well and is extremely cleam. I could not fault it and will definitely be a returning customer. What is so nice is that it is only an 8 minute walk to the lake on a dedicated walkway, so no big road to cross and if you have children there is a new play ground right across the road. Our breakfast was delicious and the food was fresh and well cooked.
