Lakeside Taupo Motel

The hotel environment is good, but since there is no front desk service, you need to contact the hotel to ask for your room number and how to get the key. However, I contacted the hotel by email before arriving but received no reply. Once I arrived, I had to make a long-distance call to ask the hotel, which would be very troublesome if I don't understand English.

The lakeside environment is indeed quite nice, and the location is close to the town center, within walking distance. Although the facilities are a bit old, they are still fairly clean. Cooking is available; there is an electric stove and cookware.

The room was well appointed, tidy, plenty of space and the bathroom was ideal. It is a little inconvenient to pick up the lock in front of the room door.

This is a very, very good motel. It's very clean, the shower water is great, and the owner even provides coffee, tea, Coco, milk, and sugar. The room can accommodate two adults and one child, and the blankets are the perfect thickness; we slept very well.
